We went to celebrate my grandsons 6th birthday this evening. We ordered food and drinks on the app, which was quick, efficient and worked well for our party. Whilst we were waiting for dinner, a rowdy family sat near us and made the surrounding tables felt uncomfortable by their attitude and language amongst themselves. It was extremely disruptive and unsettling. I asked if we could move tables. Michelle didn’t hesitate to find us another table, absolutely no quibble either. She apologised profusely and spoke to Matt who quickly diffused the situation with the other family, asking them to leave at the same time. I did explain that it was their decision but we were happy to just move tables. Matt explained that they didn’t tolerate that sort of behaviour and he thought it was only fair that all the other customers were able to enjoy their evening too. We had a really enjoyable evening, the food was served with a smile by the lovely Carrie Ann who repeatedly asked if there was anything else she could do for us.. Michelle and Matt apologised several times about the earlier incident but they literally could have done no more than they had already done. I am now absolutely going to return with friends and family at every opportunity. The team at the New Clock Inn showed their moral compass and how much they valued good custom. They were willing to step in and find a solution to what was a very awkward situation for them. It was dealt with quickly, and with minimal disruption to fellow diners. Thankyou Michelle, Matt and Carrie Ann, you made a very small boy very happy tonight for his 6th birthday and his family will always be very grateful to you. What a great team !

We’ve always loved Steam Town as a pub, but hiring Up the Junction for our event completely exceeded expectations! The space was perfect, and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Liam and Cathy looked after us brilliantly from start to finish, making sure everything was just right. Steve ran the bar like a pro, keeping everyone topped up with no waiting around. And the food? Absolutely spot on—Rhys nailed it! The entire team mucked in, creating a fantastic atmosphere and making it a truly special night. If you're looking for a great function space with top-notch service, amazing food, and a cracking pub atmosphere, this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough! Thanks all ❤️

Quick service, clear menu and options (fish skin on or off etc), polite and friendly staff. Altogether a positive atmosphere. Fab packaging, the food was still too hot to eat even though it took me over half an hour to get home. Delicious fish and perfect chips, neither were soggy even though it was in the same box. Curry sauce is perfectly thick for dipping and tastes amazing too. Best fish and chips I've ever had!

Staff were great I believe it was Taylor servicing polite and very engaging. Would be nice to se the outside area recreating but I believe the landlord Terry is in talks with Marstons regarding this. I’m only writing this because of one guy. I was on a Sunday service rail replacement which is always awful. One man though was loud and clear in his description. He was funny and genuinely made my trip which means something on some random Sunday ‘train’ journey that lasts nearly 4 hours.

After a lovely two days in Bournemouth, we were heading back to the midlands on a 4.5 hour journey, but needed to eat so we could survive the loooong journey home. I read the reviews and we popped in for our dinner.So happy we did. It was just what we needed to give us the kick start. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, great portions and very reasonable prices. My hubby and eldest had the buffet for £19:99 and me and my youngest had paneer tikka, chicken Peshawari. The chef was so kind he made us some special tea with spices to help us with our long journey.Staff were professional, helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this lovely place.Thank you to the staff at Great Mogul you really helped make our journey home so much better.

This is a Greene King pub and had a good range of both food and drink.Both my wife and I had the Fish & chips with large cut chips, peas, tartare sauce. I went for the round of white cob bread & butter @ £1.79 as well.The meal was hot and came out quite quickly after ordering.The staff where polite & very helpful and the pub clean & tidy.I will definitely try this pub again the next time I am in this area.

My husband broke down this evening and had to pull into the carpark. He went inside, explained what had happened and asked if he could use the toilet. When the New Golden Wok food in CF became stupidly greasy, we tried Good Earth and the food doesn’t compare. Consistently excellent take away deliveries for many years. Taste wise it is trumped by the Peking Phoenix restaurant in Eastleigh, but the portions they deliver are ridiculously small in comparison so we’ve ditched them. Good Earth for us!

as a currently 3rd year college student, this has been one of my go-to places to have lunch at. i didnt know what exactly i got myself into at the time i first ate there a few months ago, may or june to be exact, but i didnt regret going there, the staff there were very polite, and the shop itself had a range of toppings you could choose from. since my first time there, i been eating there quite alot. the pizza there is delicious!! id definetly reccommend going there if youre looking to get a delicious slice of pizza, looking for somewhere calming. 5 star from me, keep up the good work : )

Since I discovered Monett it has been my go-to place for food. I've never been disappointed. I've recurrently started stopping in on my way home. The guys working there are exceptionally nice and welcoming. The quality of the food is excellent. The salad looks fresh. The food is always served fresh and hot. The portions are very reasonable. I can rarely finish mine. The prices are also very reasonable and the menu is extensive. Visiting is a nice experience.

It is a shame that the overall rating is 2.5. it's important to note that most of these ratings were given under previous management so don't be put off.

Kid-friendliness: The staff are unconditionally welcoming.

Wheelchair accessibility: Level access direct from the high street. The door is normally open.

I was unsure of the box meal my son has so I went to the counter where a friendly member of staff came to take my order he was very patient friendly and had amazing customer service skills with a gorgeous smile jaydon knew what it was I wanted and also done some of my order to my son's personal preference .ie different sauce and no salad in his chicken fillet burger ? nothing was to much trouble whilst wanting for my order some delivery drivers came in and got a nice welcome and quick service from another happy friendly member of staff mac. He engaged in conversation with me whilst working I may add. I often use this KFC and said new staff a new person josh was putting together the orders working away and then a very pleasant lady think she may have been a team leader or manager her name was Ayesha she made eye contact and smiled i then told her how lovely her staff were. And she thanked me. This was the first time I have been in and out my order was correct and all there .the staff were friendly helpful and knew what they were ment to be doing it was stress free and I just wanted to get some recognition for the lovely team at Eastleigh KFC Mac,Jayden,josh and Ayesha thank you! regards Sarah ?

We chose Wild Garlic Caterers for our wedding day and we are so glad we did! They were the absolute best! Everything on the lead up and on the wedding day itself was seamless. The service from Jo, Gavin and their whole team was second to none and the food was incredible - the tasting session prior to the wedding was the hardest part as there were so many delicious options to choose from. We had so many lovely comments from our guests who were raving about the food. Someone even wrote in our guest book that the cheesecake was their favourite part of the day! We’re both big foodies, so the food was a really important part of the day for us and it certainly was 100% the right choice :) The service throughout the day was absolutely perfect and the team ensured that we both got our canapés during the drinks reception, which we really appreciated. We recently held a family members Wake here. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The room was lovely and we had space for a photo display. Our waitress for the afternoon, Lisa, was wonderful and made us all feel welcomed and well looked after. I have complex dietary needs and discussed in advance my options. I had my own buffet with a wonderful selection of food. It meant so much to me as not everywhere is as understanding or accommodating.
