High St, Headley, BordonA catch up with friends. 12 of us at down to fine and despite a hiccup with our pre ordered food normality was resumed very quickly with professionalism and a smile. Our waitress for the evening was lovely, attentive and provided service with a joke and a smile. The food was good old fashioned pub grub. We had a main and dessert. My only grumble was that it could have been a few chips bigger, I ran out of chips before I’d finished my fish. Mushy peas too maybe, but garden peas did the job. The pub itself is a bit of a dying breed really, you don’t see many about any more like the Holly Bush. It comes across as a ‘pub’ not a coiffured chain that seem to dominate our towns these days. The staff felt like the business mattered to them, they weren’t just employees. It’s a long time since our last visit, we won’t leave it as long for our next visit. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The Royal Exchange
Liphook Rd, Lindford, BordonWe have lived close by for years and this is our first visit. Dinner with friends. What a lovely pub! Very pleasantly surprised. Taken to a table tucked away in a corner, perfect for catching up with friends we haven’t seen for a while. The menu isn’t extensive but it is a good size, meaning that the chef can concentrate on presentation rather than having to contend with a multitude of dishes. I had the pork belly, it was perfectly presented and very tasty. Others at the table had the pie of the day, chicken and leek, and fish and chips. All good sized portions. Eton mess Sunday for my dessert and local ice cream for the others. Now that we have discovered this little gem so close to home we will be back.

Unit 7, The Shed Sergeants Yard, BordonThis place is very good for family's to meet up and the kids have a bit of freedom. Fast foods and an eating hall is very good for this purpose. Play area just outside. The kids love it. Recommended.Parking: a large carpark that the health centre uses too.. just make sure you move your car after 2 hours or buy a parking ticket.Kid-friendliness: Brilliant, play area for kids. 2 High St, Headley, BordonThe owners were so welcoming and thoughtful, great for a chat too! And the food, tried the ham and leek quiche and it was just what i needed on a rainy day! Definitely gonna be a regular!
Edit: just tried the sitrus cake, oh my goodness its so good!

You hammered on our door several times when we have a ring camera doorbell! ....the hammering woke up our baby after finally sitting down to enjoy a takeaway ... Just because we asked you to send the correct order after sending the wrong one!?. your drivers attitude stank tonight shouting "ARE THESE YOURS!" And storming off after huffing and puffing about it (all on camera) We are really disappointed ?

The Dairy Coffee Shop
High St, BordonWe popped in yesterday for coffee and cake on our way through Bordon. What a great find!We were made to feel very welcome. Both of the pieces of cake we had were superb and the coffee was really good too. We will definitely be returning.

Elmfield Ct, Lindford, BordonNew Town is a brilliant Chinese takeaway with a number of really tasty dishes that I have had so far!
The service is always very pleasant and efficient, the staff are friendly and they are speedy with making orders.
Dishes I have tried and would recommend so far are the Salt and Chilli Pepper Chips, Salt and Chilli Pepper Squid, Chow Mein, Hong Kong Style Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef.
The food doesn’t leave you feeling unwell afterwards and is not dripping with grease.
Would recommend, a worthy Chinese takeaway.
Dietary restrictions: Within the venue, there is a sign that describes what is contained in every dish such as peanut, sesame or crustaceans.

Arford, Headley, BordonThe Crown is a fantastic village pub which has a roaring fire going during winter months and a lovely garden area across the road which is well kept and features a babbling brook at the bottom.The food is always fantastic, a cut above the usual gastro pub type offering and you can tell it’s cooked with passion and always fresh.Dog friendly, human friendly, well worth your time for a visit.Parking: Parking across the road by the garden.

11 High St, BordonVery plain looking takeaway. Basic white tiled walls and a very basic bench seat. However, don’t let this put you off. The service is fast and the food was really nice. We had Kung Po chicken and special fried rice. The rice was really fresh tasting and the chicken was lovely. A little spicy but with a really great taste. We’ve been back a couple of times since and the food has always been great. Definitely a case of looks can be deceiving!

28 Petersfield Rd, Whitehill, BordonOpen Sunday night! Travelled from niece's in Petersfield as all closed there! Mixture of fish, sausages, chips, curry sauce and peas. All cooked fresh, large portions and still hot when got home via petrol garage. Really good, worth the 12 minute trip.

We ordered the Katsu curry, chicken gyozus and the sweet and sour chicken on Yakisoba noodles.
Food was fresh, cooked on site and tasted great.
Portion sizes were so good that we bought 2 regular portions and still had enough to take home for the kids to try (they loved it too).
This place is a definite favourite!

I went to place a big order (13 large pizzas for a bday party) and Dariusz went above and beyond to find me the best deal (tried out and compared all possible options) to keep the order as economical as possible and even made sure that made some customisation on some of the pizzas, despite the bulk order. He was extremely helpful and polite and perfectly timed the preparation time so that the pizzas would be pipping hot at pick up. Well done!

Great Wall Of China Takeway
11 Petersfield Rd, Whitehill, BordonThis is a great Chinese takeaway in Bordon. They are the only Chinese restaurant on Just Eat but we have actually started ordering directly with them as they give a discount on collection orders.
The food is great and there is a very large vegetarian selection which my wife likes. It is also a good value.
The only criticism is their fried rice, but everything things else I have eaten from here is great!
