Very delicious!!! We ordered the jollof mutton with plantains and beans on the side. Also tried the puff puffs. I'll be back and/or order from here again when I'm in Basingstoke.

What a lovely little hidden gem of a restaurant, food is gorgeous & loads of choice, service is excellent & an all round fabulous experience! Five stars all the way!

German Doner Kebab

I had a quick dinner at this fast food restaurant, and it was great! Farwa Faiz, who served me, was super helpful and cheerful. I ordered their famous chicken wrap, and it was fantastic—packed with flavor and generous portions. Farwa suggested adding extra veggies, which made it even better! The fries were golden and perfectly salted. I appreciated how attentive she was, making sure everything was to my liking. The atmosphere was lively, and the place was clean. I left feeling satisfied and happy, thanks to the excellent service from Farwa. I’ll be back soon to try their breakfast menu!

Zizzi - Basingstoke

Good is spot on here, staff are great and always happy to help. Went here for Xmas eve family meal and everyone was happy with choices off set menu as was lots to choose from.

Such a wonderful place! The momo shin ramen was delicious, and we were looked after very well by the staff- amazing service and food- we are definitely coming back! Hopefully soon!!

Harvester Stag & Hounds Basingstoke

Our server matt was absolutely lovely. He has only been here a week when he served us and he did so well. We even threw an allergy his way and he handled super well even with the uncertainty of the full process. He laughed and joked around with us which is always lovey to see in anyone. Food was super speedy and delicious. Once again, massive shout out to matt. Also apologies to matt for the shenanigans we were forcing you to deal with ❤️

Bounty Inn

Stumbled across this pub by accident, loved the atmosphere instantly, and the food then lived up to our expectations from meeting the fun and very friendly staff! 100% recommend! Oh, and there’s a very very cute pub dog.

Excellent food, but service could have been a little more relaxed and friendly. Prices average these days £113.00 for 2 courses, for 4 people, and a bottle of house wine with 2 Diet Cokes.

Cromwell Tandoori

We had a delivery from the Cromwell Tandoori last night. It was the first time we had eaten from here and it didn’t disappoint. The food delivery was piping hot, and it was the best flavour we have tasted in a very long time. Would highly recommend ~ we will definitely be eating from here again ⭐️

Having eaten at both Fleet and Basingstoke restaurants. Great food brilliant staff. Great atmosphere loads of menu options always leave with smile beaming from ear to ear

The Red Lion, Overton

We absolutely love The Red Lion, Overton, and we regularly visit for food and drinks. The service is always excellent, with the staff being warm and welcoming. The food is fantastic and really well priced with a wide variety of tasty dishes on offer. There's a great selection of drinks availabme with a range of good draught lagers, and there's always a nice choice of real ale available as well as a fantastic range of wine and spirits. There's a beer garden and onsite parking as well. Overall, I can't recommend this pub enough, and it's well worth a visit for either food or a cheeky pint.

The Fox

Excellent lunchtime meal.
Service was very attentive despite there being a function catered for at the same time. Obviously they had planned accordingly and everyone seemed happy.

The Barley Mow

Nice pub with separate cosy looking bar and restaurant areas. Food was very good, clearly not 'ping' food and reasonably priced (for these days...) eg haddock fishcake £13.95, Sausage and Mash £12.50, Steak and Ale Pie £14.50. Desserts around £6.75 with mini dessert (small but ample) and hot drink only £5.50. Drink prices very reasonable as well Merlot 250ml £6.95, Doombar £4.70.

Close to Bombay Sapphire Distillery so good place to stop for a meal after visiting.

The Wheatsheaf

We use the Wheatsheaf as a changeover place for our grandson it's midway between us and my son ~ 1 hour so we need a place with facilities. The staff are really welcoming we only have a drink but they make us feel very welcome and can't do enough for you. We have not had breakfast here but on the last two occasions the people on the tables near us have been expressing their satisfaction with their meals.

Pizza Express

What a great pizza express! The food and service were excellent! The restaurant had s great feeling to it and the food was the best I have ever had in a Pizza Express.

Another fantastic visit to The Stonehouse, Beech Arms. Rhys was managing on his own behind the bar and taking food orders. Stayed so calm and was professional too. The carvery was at its best tonight

Great family meal out at Brewdog Basingstoke for Wings Wednesday!! Bartenders/waiting staff were great and the place was full!! Great atmosphere and the play list was super too!!

Agra Balti House

We’ve been eating here since the 1980’s. Several different owners and alternative names eg Romna Tandoori. Wonderful food which we liken to what home cooking in India would be like.Parking: Parking lot is a 10 minute walk away. Not easy for mobility impaired patrons.

Wimpy

Great service and huge restaurant but wish staff wouldn't keep coming up asking if my meal is OK whist I'm in the middle of eating. Leave that until after the customer has finished.

Mayflower Chinese Restaurant

Came here on Saturday night with some friends after a long day out in London and they fitted us in - I found the service efficient and abrupt, not rude at all but a little abrupt anyway!Food was great - cooked to order rather than Sat keeping warm so there was the correct balance of ordering and waiting for it to arrive, not too fast and not too slow either. Not unreasonably priced for a sit down Chinese restaurant. All in all, very enjoyable.

Papa Johns Pizza

Papa John's definitely has my favourite pizza in Basingstoke. It is done quick, whether it is delivery or collection, it is cooked well, and it tastes amazing. I would definitely recommend it!

Not really food… but the milkshake was as always 10/10 5-stars all the way, staff kind of let it down… smile… be a bit happier especially when I’m trying my hardest to be polite and friendly the least I could get is that in return ?

McDonald's

A nice and, most importantly, clean McDonald’s with friendly staff and tasty food. My boyfriend and I always come here to spend time and eat, and it’s become a tradition. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the music is often fun. Thanks to the team for making it such a great place to visit

KFC Basingstoke - Leisure Park

Food is great as always but will be our last visit as they stopped serving drinks with real sugars a while ago, and have now stopped doing hot drinks too. Nothing left for us there ?

Cafe in the Park - Beggarwood

I went for a MND meeting hospitality were spot on also customers I found to be plesent

Smiley's Kebab

Delicious kebabs, and the portion sizes are very generous- like Halil! Upon arriving we realised it was cash only. The absolute gent said just to pay it back when we can. Offered us some sample chicken fresh off the grill too! Highly recommend for the service alone- the good food is for sure a bonus.

The Riverdene

Excellent pub, very friendly staff and locals. Great beer selections at reasonable prices and live sports on TV, a very good juke box, pool table and darts.
Wills meals is amazing and worth ordering

Golden Lion

Lovely local pub, nice ambiance. New chef and the food is absolutely delicious, great value and good portions. If you have ever ordered from BlackBox then you know what I’m talking about. Beers not bad either.

Station Kebabs

Fantastic kebab van that's been at this location for many many years. Staff are always friendly and love having a chat to you.Have never had a bad experience there and the food has always been good. Some may say the prices are high, but for the quantity and quality, I'd say the pricing is bang on.There isn't any official parking at the site, the spaces nearby are for disabled or permit holders, but in practice you're able to park there and wait whilst they make your food without issue.Obviously busiest on Friday/Saturday evenings, so best to go before the pubs start kicking people out if you want to avoid a wait.Definitely be returning, hope they stay there for a long time!

Hartley's Kitchen

Used to eat at this cafe regularly whilst working at Belvedere House and I can't recommend them enough!Brilliant service with some of the best wraps I have had, absolutely deserving of five stars.

Mr Munch

I was looking for a drink but was served as though I was ordering a full meal , I ordered a latte (£2.95 ) it was served in a large cup and was just right. Fortunately I had some cash on me as I had not noticed the No cash sign ! I will pop in there again and try the food . More to come .

The Greyhound

The Greyhound is a good locals pub, with character, but also with a hidden gem over the last couple of years - the food! The landlord is a great cook and keeps a small but exceptional menu available from Thursday to Sunday. The sea bream was lovely, and others had the home-made pie, which also went down well, all served with fresh vegetables. Reasonably priced and served by helpful and friendly staff. Wine by bottle also good and reasonably priced. Pop in for a drink, but do try the food too. Taylors Landlord is often the only ale, and it would be nice to see another (maybe local?) ale on sometimes. A nice local with a good atmosphere, so give it a go!

The Royal Oak

Stumbled upon this place whilst passing by and really chuffed. A good proper pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice old skool English pub. Good beer, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and the locals seemed happy to chat too. Bravo.

Caffè Nero

Great staff, always friendly and efficient. Reasonable selection of cakes and snacks, some comfortable easy chairs as well as usual table layout. Coffee is way better than Costa in my opinion. Happy to use this place regularly.
