I have eaten here before but don't remember it being this good. The meal was a highlight in the last few months for me. I had the lamb rack on minted mashed potato and my wife had the fried chicken burger. The lamb was tender and delicious, whilst the burger was full of flavour and a substantial meal. Definitely worth a visit. Well done to the Plough in Longparish. This pub was saved by the community and they are doing a cracking job.

My first ever visit here and I found it a pleasant experience. I like the way it’s tucked away and feels quite secluded, even though it is close to so many busy roads. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was slow, but then they were super busy, as it was the Saturday before Mother’s Day. We were aware we were going to have to be patient. The staff were busy serving and taking orders the whole time we were there. The food went down well, but portion sizes, like most eateries are down and we understand it’s about businesses surviving, plus rising bills, so that was understood. Food was hot and cooked well. Puddings were delicious. A lovely family gathering to be fair and a welcoming atmosphere.

First time there as a Turkish restaurant. They still do the Frango chicken, but also now have a range of Turkish food and burgers too. We had the mixed kebabs. Choice of two from kofta (adana), shish and chicken. Wonderful kebabs full of flavour, lean and served with lovely fresh salad, some sauces and we had the piri piri chips. Absolutely fabulous lunch. We will definitely go back.

Located at the Bus station it's the perfect place to stop off on your morning commute to work, recommend ordering ahead too via the app to skip any queue.Staff are friendly and very helpful, the store has ample seating inside with a toilet situated at the back of the store. The store also has a helpful live bus timetable, so you won't miss your bus.

Popped in for a few drinks while staying at the nearby Wetherspoons. The Redbridge is bright & spacious, welcoming, and has great views across to the pedestrian area for people watching. The young lad was very friendly and attentive, giving the time for a chat. Various comfortable seating, with various tv's showing sport which was a bonus. Prices of drinks were very reasonable on comparison with Wetherspoons but with a more relaxed atmosphere.

I don't go to pubs very often as I do not drink alcohol these days, but it was my partners 50th birthday party, so a good excuse. This is the 1st time we've been to a pub since Covid hit our shores. It is under new management and the landlord was all too happy to let us have a small party in the attached hall at a very reasonable price. We brought our own food but had easy access to the main bar so that people could get drinks of their choice alcohol, soft drinks or hot beverages. We were left to our own devices and not disturbed. Overall it was a very pleasant occasion with family and a few more friends and everyone enjoyed the experience, especially Kate whose party it was

One of the best Indian we've ever had. Had a chicken with peanut sauce, so good. A mind blowingly spicy flavourful Lamb dish - but so moreish. Could definitely taste the tamarind and almost imli chutney flavours. The stand out for me and all because of nostalgia is the coconut rice. Definitely reminded me of home -- rice grains separate, fresh finely grated coconut flesh -- couldn't stop eating it as is. Mexican Chicken Tinga was also a nice surprise - slightly salty but all in all better than some of the other Mexican chains that only serve Mexican food. New favourite takeaway!

So we have 4 take away pizza restaurants in Andover. Dominos, pizza hut, Papa John's and capprinnos.All I have ordered from and only 2 days would order from again. Dominos which is good but Papa John's for me wins. The reason for this is it's a bit cheaper, the sides are great ( cheese and bacon loaded potato tots for the win). The pizza it's self is great. The crust is great and the toppings I love. The Philly pizza is great although could do with more steak in my opinion. The garlic butter is not great compared the dominos garlic and herb dip which is miles better what you get with the pizza. All in all just passes dominos just about. Change your dip and add a bit more toppings and you win hands down Papa John's Andover. Also staff are nice.

Hotel with a pub on the ground floor. The pub is surprisingly big! The rooms were good and clean. The building is quite winding. So be careful when partying, otherwise you will need help to find your room again. ;-)
The food in the pub was very tasty. In the evenings the pub is really full, with locals and tourists. A public parking lot is right in front of the hotel. Perfect for a night on our motorcycle tour.

Also would be great to have a person in charge who guides and runs who doeas what, as today evening they were busy and seemed they just runing around and panicking. Also put extra effort on cleanliness in the kitchen.Would I buy from them again? Not until they improve.Would I suggest them to any friends or family to dine with them, maybe not yet.If you got hangover or need somthing quick before thw night drinking starts maybe.

I was lucky enough to win the Valentines meal this year and I messaged to see if I could amend it to a table of 3 so I could take my son and my friends son (who is now my adopted son) The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were made to feel so welcome and treated so lovely from start to finish. The food was beautiful, the staff went above and beyond for all of us - my son is the fussiest of fussy eaters and they catered for him too. When I went to pay, I fully expected to have to pay for the 3rd person and the extras but was told it was ALL FREE. Genuinely had the loveliest evening, beautiful pub, relaxed atmosphere, games for the table as well made it even more fun. Absolutely 10/10 from us xx

Had take away from here loads of times and it's been great each time. Food tastes so good and is always delivered piping hot. Staff are good on the phone and never had any problems ordering. Will definitely visit in person and see if it's just as good.

Just attended cocktail evening with birthday girl Gayle Owen’s. Best evening I had in years, Manager, Russel, made the event fabulous!!!The food was great too. Highly recommend, , so many events to attend, live music special offers, on food cocktails, coffee mornings. Fabulous evening Russell, this Will be my local and go to , for now on. Wouldn’t hesitate to go on my own, fabulous atmosphere and feel relaxed to be there. Thank you Russell.

I always come here with my dear friend who is a regular at this pub and this was I think my 6th or 7th visit so I thought it would now be fair to leave an honest review.

I must say it is a splendid little spot with nice indoor and outdoor decor and they serve the finest Guinness that has ever touched my lips!

I rated the food 4* as I only had a couple pints so cannot comment on it.

I would highly recommend this discreet spot in the heart of Andover!

Wyke Down Country Pub & Restaurant

Came here with my family on a Saturday evening. This is my second time eating at Wyke Down and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious, staff were really friendly and it was great value. Very much recommend the Buffalo chicken burger (delicious)! The pub itself is tastefully decorated and very clean. Thoroughly recommend eating here.

Just had Sushi from Rice and Roll. Food was amazing however took a while to work out that we could sit in the pub and eat. It also took about 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Would definitely have again if we’re ever in the area.
