Cheap food and drinks that are yummy.Pizzas and skewers on menu £3 each.Just watch the cocktail glasses as i received 2 that were broken & possible glass bits in the drink.Edit: not sure how to reply to your post.It was 26th Feb. From 12-7. Booking under Laura for 8 i think. Staff were polite & i got a new drink.

Pesto at the Dicconson Arms

Excellent Staff (NOTHING is too much trouble and always pleasant) and food. Beautiful place. 100% top notch and good value. Also, their take out food is excellent. 4 visits now. Impeccable service. The food is always great here. BINDI of Aspull

Looks like my wife and I have a new favourite place to eat. Food was exceptional, I really loved the onion bhajis and mushroom puri.Not too expensive and the service was wonderful. We'll definitely be back soon.

Park Hotel

Attended a post funeral wake in the conservatory room, quite a few people in the gathering and it was nice having the area just for the group. The staff were efficient and respectful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The chef/s somehow managed to get all the food ready at the same time so that everyone actually ate together which was excellent as there is nothing worse than some meals being served while others are left waiting. Would recommend as a venue for all types of celebrations.

The Wheel Restaurant

Just had Christmas lunch here with our church family. I can honestly say it's the best one I've had for years. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were polite and helpful. Will certainly be revisiting and can highly recommend it.

Moonlight Tandoori

I’ve been going to the moonlight for years, the food is without a doubt the best around, not once in all the years I’ve been going here have I had a bad meal, the service is the very best you will ever experience, the guys here are the real deal, the full package of what you should expect from a takeaway.

Venture

Visited Venture during the week with my partner, we opted for the 2 for £11.99 offer and both had the steak pie. The meal was lovely overall... we were expecting a slice of pie each but got a whole pie on each plate ??. Was certainly very filling, couldn't finish it. Very good value for money. No complaints from us.Also noted that The Venture is dog friendly so will be visiting again when out on our walks.Overall a nice friendly pub atmosphere to dine in, highly recommend.EDIT - Visited again yesterday with my dog for a quick bite to eat, food was delicious again and a thumbs up from my pooch who had chicken and sausages off the doggy menu and scoffed the lot ?

Balcarres Arms

Lovely pub, made my children feel very welcome, great atmosphere, friendly hospitality great events throughout the the week, stayed for karaoke for 2 hours with the kids on Sunday. Fantastic food, great quality.Thanks so much.

Asylum

Didn't eat just nipped in for a drink whilst the Xmas markets was on.I got a double rhubarb and ginger gin and tonic and it was £10.70, I was shocked.Atmosphere was good but it's not a big place so people where stood outside next to the firepit

First visit here, I came with my mum and I had been having a rough few days at school and it was really nice to get out and go for breakfast but also being in a very relaxed space. I often feel overwhelmed going to places but I felt really calm here and thoroughly enjoyed it, not to mention the amazing large breakfast and a wonderful latte thanks so much (:

Fat Olive Restaurant

Decent place. Food was absolutely lovely, staff wasn't very happy or welcoming really. We was about to leave a tip but turns out they already added it to the bill without us even knowing so it took the appreciation away....

We came for my husbands 50th birthday, it was the first time we had come . The food was fantastic there was loads. Want to say thankyou for making all 12 of us very welcome. We will definitely be back.

Papa Luigis Wigan

Monday night is pizza and pasta night for about £5 each, a great deal. It's one of the few places open in Wigan on a Monday, food is nice, good for large parties on a budget, friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Stag Inn

We made a reservation but arrived early. The chap got us seated as quickly as possible. We ordered a fish and chips, tandoori chicken, and 2 steaks. The fish and chicken were OK. The steaks were both well done instead af medium. It was ok. The staff were very friendly.

Excellent service, ordered from the app which was easy to use, arrived very quickly; maybe 20 mins and piping hot. The nicest takeaway garlic bread I've had, everything was great and looked fresh and visually

Omg, just had the best meal here. My friend and I went for a catch upand I was surprised how busy it was for a Tuesday early evening but after our meals I totally get why it was busy and will definitely be going again. The team there are lovely and the food so delicious. My new favourite place.

Bengal Spice

Just ordered from Bengal Spice. Absolutely superb. Delivered well on time and food piping hot. Got to say since Orrell Curry house closed we have tried a good few Indians and been disappointed with taste portion size etc. This has been the best by far. Definitely ordering again. The Paddock

First visit to the Paddock & it didn't disappoint. The food was outstanding, I had the salmon nicoise salad. The service was impeccable, friendly & professional staff. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be visiting again. Well done to the team.

Sapore Italiano

Ordered a smash burger and it was amazing, and I would highly recommend it. The sauce was delicious and the burger itself was piping hot and tasted divine with the other toppings. Will definitely be ordering again.

Toronto Pizza

We used to go there every week when we lived near it, now we moved and we still travel 30miles to get a take away. That’s how good it is. I’m impressed the shop has been there for so many year! Well done and recommended!

Such nice e staff I ordere the wrong thing on the uber app and they fixed it for me and did not charge me for it even when I asked to pay they insisted that I did not need pay more.They also messaged me via Facebook asking if the food was ?.I have had both of there box meals now and both where more than filling and the food was just perfect

Love this coffee shop. The only one I visit when in Wigan.I only drink white coffee or espresso there and it's ....delicious.The ambience there is to be savoured so I never get a takeout.The staff are great & friendly.

Leigh road chippy

Come here once a month from my home in the South Wales Valleys en route to Hindley cemetery. Found both the quality of the food and cheerfulness of the staff superb.. This place is a must for anyone who appreciates good food at a reasonable price. Well recommended. Many thanks / Diolch yn fawr iawn I bawb.

I work in a local business so I visit this Greggs sometimes before my shift starts or on my break. I am served by Viv most of the time and I’m glad that I do as she is such a lovely women, always polite and uses manners. Fast and friendly service from her ever time!

Can't give 5 stars as I don't feel like the food is as good as it used to be when it was a lot cheaper, I would say the coffees are well worth buying compared to the more expensive coffee places around Wigan. Staff where friendly.

Basmati Restuarant & take away

Staying over in Wigan to meet mates and we went for a curry on our first night! Tried something new and had a chicken pathia which was very nice but had a kick. Nice restaurant and friendly staff who we had a good laugh with! Authentic music and lovely food too!

Galloways Market Place

The butter and onion pies are superb, with the texture of the mashed potato and onion mixture being spot on inside the pastry, as well as being a good portion size for £2; also, if one Galloways store doesn't have what you want, they'll happily call up another store round the corner to ask if that has it in stock!

I ordered salt and pepper crispy beef which wasn’t on the menu but they made it for me anyway and it was delightful! I got salt and pepper chips too and they were bang on! I only live over the road so they’ll be seeing me more often!? ?

Two Left Feet Tap & Brewery

It's a bar and they serve beer and snacks. All keg beers on the day I was there. No real ale even though they had the hand pumps. Two left feet pilsner was the nearest they had to ordinary beer. Pleasant sitting outside on a warm day. Not sure I'd want to sit inside. Seemed a bit pokey.

Mr English Traditional Fish & Chips

Good food and a decent sized portion. Prices were a little more than I expected with two large chips, one with curry and the other with gravy coming in at just over £9. Not sure how much the more substantial meals are. Service was quick and really friendly with all staff very chatty making it a pleasant atmosphere.

First time visit and was impressed.....Food was great and at a really good price which included a drink....Served very promptly even though it was quite busy....Free WiFi too.....Quite a big place with plenty of tables.....Friendly staff but not overbearing.....Would highly recommend 5/5....

Tea's Cafe Bar

Very good little cafe. Excellent breakfast, thick cut bacon, eggs done just right, thick toast, a little dearer than a wetherspoons but far better quality foods.Just a little too small inside, but manageable.

Jamuna Indian Takeaway

First time using as my usual one was shut. Very good choice. Rang up on (29th Aug) spoke to a very polite person. Food was delivered in under an hour and it was piping hot. Extremely tasty. Will definitely be using them again

Four Seasons Kitchen Limited

I’ve been having these meals for over 6 months now, initially to help with calorie control. They are all really tasty and the variety from week to week is great. I’ve tried a few different meal prep menus and this is the best. Would definitely recommend.

Station Café

Wednesday 17th January 2024 , 10.30am . What a jewel in the crown , this lovely cafe is . Opposite the entrance to , Wigan Wallgate station . Every member of staff excelled , a lovely warm welcome and fantastic service from all of them . I chose the mega breakfast , which was exceptional value . And my little dog who was made very welcome , enjoyed a sausage treat . Again many thanks to you all
