Unit C Shepherd St, Royton, OldhamFirst time eating here, was bit gutted they don't do a full English or eggs, so ordered bacon on sourdough bread, there was plenty of bacon on it as well and really tasty
Also ordered a latte, came with with water and a biscoff for the sandwich

28 Rochdale Rd, Royton, OldhamMy family and I have always loved istanblue, however after their refurb, we went to try the Sunday roast dinner today and couldn’t have been more pleased. First of all, the service is second to none (as always. ) Secondly, what they have done with the decor is truly beautiful, and OF COURSE! The food is always beautiful, hence why we always return, however I’m so excited they are going down the route of offering breakfast and Sunday roast- they truly didn’t disappoint! Also want to add the owner always goes out of his way to ensure everyone is happy and asks for feedback- I honestly think this is something that is overseen by many restaurants these days, and I just think that’s an extra special touch. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Credit to Royton.

The Halfway House

558 Rochdale Rd, Royton, OldhamFantastic meal, really friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Very generous portion sizes… the lamb chops were amazing! Great value for money and so good to have fresh food cooked in traditional ways. I can’t recommend the place highly enough!

Post Office, 56 Rochdale Rd, Royton, OldhamExcellent bar in the centre of Royton, bit on the small side but more than makes up for that with coverage of all the sports you can handle on the dozen screens or so, even one in the toilets, and the ale is spot on together with prices.

Like most Sam Smith's pubs these days no phones, no dogs (not really sure on Humphrey's logic on this one, because most of the passing trade is dog owners) & no kids. Does mean the whole "no phones because we encourage conversation" rule is a bit stupid, because often you are sat in an empty room with no one to talk to because they all went elsewhere because of the silly rules. But I can't detract stars from the pub because it's not their fault that they are issued them rules.

Junction Inn, 221 Rochdale Rd, Royton, OldhamWent to the junction yesterday after we had been let down by a local pub. The food was superb. The waiting staff were very friendly and service was brilliant. Would highly recommend this pub. We will definitely be back again. One small suggestion - cheese and onion pie is tasty but it would be nice to have an imaginative alternative - our veggie friends don't want the same meal on every visit! Overall an enjoyable visit and pleasant atmosphere.

Mazzo
Mazzo Restaurant, Radcliffe St, Royton, OldhamFood was lovely, service is very quick. I’m presuming at one point our drinks took longer than expected but as soon as our waiter was in our section again he clocked our table without us having to say anything and sorted it as soon as possible. The staff were also incredibly polite, the only downside was the venue is incredibly warm (probably due to how busy Easter weekend was) we made our visit short due to this but they had no issue packing our mains to go. Will absolutely visit again.

Unit 2, Elk Mill, centre Retail Park, Broadway, Royton, OldhamClean shop and toilets. Really friendly, helpful staff. Had a cappuccino and maple ? hot chocolate. Relaxed atmosphere with a mix of locals. Street parking nearby and on the main shopping area. Real community vibe.
