9 Bolton Rd W, Ramsbottom, BuryFranks have always done great burgers but the real measure of any organisation is how they react when they get it wrong. Last night my order wasn’t delivered, I called them, they apologised profusely, explained their mistake & said they would recook my order as it gone cold & they were not happy delivering sub standard food. My freshly cooked order arrived in 20mins, piping hot & delivered with another apology & a discount. Great food but more importantly great service!! Get stuck in you won’t be disappointed ?

9 Bridge St, Ramsbottom, BuryWe were a group of 3 who went in for lunch at 12.30, with no reservation. We quickly found a suitable table. We parked on the East Lancs Railway free car park on Kay Brow opposite, which was about 5 mins walk away. The menu was a little confusing at first, as the lunch items were not clearly shown, unlike those available for Brunch. However, you simply look at items not showing under Brunch. The food was nice overall. I had a tuna sandwich with salad, which was plentiful. My wife had the Reuben bagel, which she said was tasty. My father-in-law had the gammon ham & apple panini with salad. He thought it was nice. The food did take a bit longer to arrive than anticipated but was worth it overall. At the time, most of the tables were taken.

38 Bolton St, Ramsbottom, BuryThis place is a little gem. There are plenty of places to eat out in Ramsbottom but this our favourite. It is excellent food at very, very reasonable prices. We have genuinely not had a bad meal in all the times we have been here (and that is quite a few).The service is great, the staff are friendly. Why pay nearly double the amount for similar food at nearby restaurants.

Booking is advised But the main point is that the food is truly delicious, well-presented & good value. Plus they also have a few Japanese dishes as well as their Korean range. We'll worth a visit. Parking is on the road or nearby streets.

Two minor criticisms however. The ice cream dessert may as well be taken off the menu. The portions are tiny and vanilla, strawberry and chocolate flavours are just boring these days and it was served in one of those steel dishes from the 70s. The ice cream also looked as though it was from a tub of Asda's neapolitan!
The Americano coffee was served in a huge glass cup with a single shot of espresso (based on the price of a single/double espresso). Unsurprisingly it was like dishwater. Even with another shot in it, it was weak. A double shot in a smaller cup please guys!!

Quite honestly say the food was EXCELLENT! Not to be confused with regular Indian cuisine, this restaurant serves authentic top quality food. Great Indian lager helped the food go down well. Food and drink was served correctly and with hot plates . Best Indian we've had in years. 5 star experience.

49 Bolton St, Ramsbottom, BuryNice quiet elegant and delightful discovery in Ramsbottom. This restaurant has the perfect imperfect balance between taste, quality and price. In a beautiful setting, nicely decorated with typical photos of famous Italian venues, sublime ingredients are masterfully mixed into rich Italian dishes on the (to my surprise) ideal pricing you could ever expect.
I highly doubt you could ever be disappointed in choosing this restaurant.
A sincere well done to the owners.
(although sitting in the main street, in the town there are various parking options a couple of minute away and it's a very nice and short walk to the restaurant, which also adds to the quality of the visit)

I sat by the window with a book and had a beautiful cappuccino (really creamy) and fogs and ricotta on toast which was a generous portion and I couldn’t eat it all! A nice little spot to people watch and I can’t wait to try other things on the menu!

Vegetarian options: One vegan main (curry), a couple of dessert options.
Parking: Spaces can be tight with SUVs.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entry, negligible lip at doorway, flat floor inside into bar and dining area. Spacious enough to park at some tables, though probably best to give notice.

Not once did this place come up on any google searches etc. happened to be in a bar across the way and spotted it so took a look at the menu. So glad we did. Probably the best Thai meal we have ever had. The shared starter was absolutely delicious and both of our mains were superb. The Massaman curry especially was just amazing. Lovely, friendly staff. Would 100% recommend.

Recently, I decided to give it another try, and I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed the donner kebab. It was nice and fresh, just as I remembered. The staff were friendly and chatty, adding to the pleasant experience. I'll definitely be returning in the future. In my opinion, it's the best kebab in Ram!Parking: The nearest place is the council car park, which is a bit of a walk away past the Jug.

This was topped off by first class service! The prices were incredibly good value and the portion sizes generous. The takeaway area was clean and well located! Good evening out. Quiet at time we went, about 5-7pm. Has disabled parking and access.
Very attentive staff. Millie being one of these. Good portion of food. Already sent friends in the past for rhe afternoon.
Nice music. Might be missed because not a noticeable route.

The Railway

A bit of a wait, which the staff came over and apologised about but when the food came it was well worth the wait!! 3 meat sunday roast was top notch. The footy was on too and the pub had a good friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!

Two different people ate these and both loved them, another had donner and enjoyed that also. One of the best take-aways around, would recommend.

The best Singapore fried rice and Chicken satay. Chips are amazing as is everything else. Service is quick and friendly. Cash only, but for great food, who cares. Love this place.
