As I am an old school pub drinker I am happy to say without malice it is a rough and ready pub of which I love unfortunately or should I say lucky it is not one I would take my wife to.Anyway she doesn't like Holt's
There is nothing whatsoever to dislike about this pub. It's an absolute classic street corner pub of which very few survive. Add in great staff, customers and of course Holt's beer at wonderful prices that put city centre chain pubs to shame. I almost don't want you to go and keep it secret for the few, but get there and support a great pub.

Called in on the way back from Salford Red Devils to Patricroft Station. Cancelled trains made easier by this superb find. Quality locals happy to welcome a stranger. Mild on draught at good prices.
