Took the scenic route in my search for the elusive Black Jack Brewery Manchester Stout. Found the actually brewery that Google maps took me to. Met up with a Mr Darcy, having worked four years with BJ Brewery, said the brewery was closed to the public for now until the weather warms up. But he was kind enough to direct me to the Mackie Mayor. Situated in the former Smithfield’s meat market, Jack in the Box serves Black Jack’s brews in this is a hidden gem in the NQ.
