Taj Mahal

I was treated to a surprise birthday meal at the Taj Mahal in Farnworth, only to find 30 plus friends there when I arrived. The staff were marvellous serving pre ordered meals and making sure everyone was happy. All I heard was everyone saying how much they had enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the place. Staff played a few lively songs as my cake was cut and served. Fabulous night all round!

Royal Balti House

Poppadoms and mixed pickle tray excellent my husband had balti madras special which was very good and i had chicken tikka garlic chilli again it was very good. The only thing we left was the nan bread it was very very dry and had no flavour. The thick hand cut chips were delicious as was the pilau rice. Nice touch at the end with a complimentary shot and fresh orange segments.

Going to give 5 ⭐for customer service as the guy I collected a menu from was extremely polite , I did so because as I passed on a Friday night the shop had a lot of Uber eats/ deliveroo guys coming and going so I thought ooh must be a great place ,I took the menu home had a look and was quite surprised to find absolutely no dishes from the middle east as their name suggests lol !!!
Then I came here to read their reviews to see you all complaining about noodles / burritos etc
I mean what do you expect when you are not going to an authentic Asian or Mexican restaurant?
To the owners maybe stick to what you know best and if you do I for sure would buy

First time visiting this place. I had a chicken tikka on naan. Food was really tasty and most importantly, fresh! Tasted nice, staff was nice too. Will go back again.

Golden Dragon

First time ordering from the Golden Dragon and to say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. We had the vegetable curry, which was delicious. Everything was fresh and not greasy which is a big bonus. Also a shoutout to the Sesame and prawn toast. Probably the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. It’s was crispy and had loads of prawn mince on it. Very well done on that. We will be using the Golden Dragon as our regular Chinese takeaway from now on. Thank you for a beautiful meal.

Ordered from here via uber eats, and was not disappointed. Arrived quick, drinks were cold and the food was hot

Was quite impressed with the garlic bread calzone, shocked more places don’t offer it.

Plus the portion of the gateu was surprisingly decent, granted it was a little frozen at first, but it made for a decent treat later on

I ordered pizza and fried chicken and I liked both.Its cheaper to order from their website than just eat which I appreciate. Took about 45 min to deliver. Driver was nice.

Ive ordered from here before both on collection and delivery. Both times Ive not been disappointed. Granted Ive only ordered chickedn wrap meals but theyve been fresh and hot each time. The chips are also really nice and done in a way that they stay crispy, without just being stale. The wraps are large and filling and the meal is definitely good value.
