Market Approach, 1 Gerard St, Ashton-in-Makerfield, WiganWhat an absolute gem of a restaurant in Ashton in Makerfield. My partner and I celebrated my birthday there last night. The food, staff and atmosphere were all amazing. We will definitely be returning again soon.

Cwtch Cafe
7 Gerard St, Ashton-in-Makerfield, WiganAlways go here for breakfast with family, food is hot, good quality, plenty of it and delicious. You get service with a smile and if you want something 'tweaked' off the menu they always try to accommodate.
We also used Cwtch's outside catering for our Dad's funeral, everyone commented how good the buffet was, especially the home made sausage rolls and home made cakes.
They even catered for our vegetarian and gluten free friends.
We also needed a small separate buffet for the sheltered accommodation which Cwtch put together little picnic boxes, these were also well received.
I would deffinately recommend Cwtch for outside catering.

Bengal Curry Pot
1-3 Gerard St, Ashton-in-Makerfield, WiganExcellent restaurant and takeaway. Customer service is second to none. The manger ( apologies as i cannot remember your name - I'm rubbish with names!) Not only replaced my daughters curry which was just due to a misunderstanding, not an error, bit he also made her a special curry to Tey to offer her what she wanted that wasn't on the menu and replaced the rice and replaced the chips and threw in a nan bread which wasn't even on the original order!!!
I've been to the curry pot a good few times amd never had an issue, but to go these lengths over something thatbwasnt their fault just shows you how understanding and customer focused they really are. To add to all thay, the foods bloody fantastic as well and keenly priced with prompt service. Top notch.

The Sir Thomas Gerard - JD Wetherspoon

It's a massive pub that has the normal great Wetherspoons menu with something for everyone. The pub was clean and tidy, and food came quickly, especially when ordering on the app. Everyth was hot and well cooked.

21 Wigan Rd, Ashton-in-Makerfield, WiganStayed at the (ibis styles hotel) haydock! an ordered food from (crazy fast foods) quite late , 10.45pm ish , food arrived in 45 minutes , i ordered a garlic bread with cheese n mushrooms and a mexican pizza ,firstly the food came so hot the hotel downstairs wouldnt have brought it that hot, secondly the food was delicious,and i mean delicious plenty of toppings and extremely tasty , i had to write this review because they deserve the praise deserve the custom and if your staying at the ibis this has to be 1st thought on ( did somebody say JUST EAT ) thanks guys food got demolished and if continue to produce, serve and deliver pizzas like that you wont go bust , appreciated, Adrian

Tasty Bite (Ashton-in-Makerfield)

Over the years I've moved to many different towns and tried nearly every pizzeria in the area, none compare to this place. There have been many different owners over the years, but the current owners are the best by far. I'd easily recommend this place to anyone visiting, or living in the area.

Mediterranean Pizza
7 Garswood St, Ashton-in-Makerfield, WiganJust had a lovely chicken kebab from this takeaway and treated my family to pizza and kids meals. We have ordered from Mediterranean in the past and it’s always good and tasty food that’s cooked well and this time it was as expected, really good. The owner/manager rung me because they didn’t have in what I had wanted and instead gave me an alternative at no extra cost for the inconvenience of not having what I’d wanted which shows excellent customer service, care and good business practice which can be rare these days. I definitely recommend Mediterranean if you are looking for good take away food and good efficient service. Thank you for the good communication and getting the food to me on time still, it was much appreciated.
