Coral offers a delightful dining experience with its lovely decor and excellent staff service, though the bathrooms are disappointingly cramped and dated. The Xmas menu was average, with the turkey overcooked and no potatoes served. However, for a group dinner, the spacious table and banquette seating made conversation easy. The starters, such as the liver mousse, were well-received, and the venison main course was very tasty. To finish, the Christmas Pudding with toffee sauce and ice cream was a yummy treat. The service was unobtrusive, and the pacing between courses was just right, creating an overall pleasant and enjoyable evening. While the portions were small, the attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere made for a thoroughly enjoyable lunch experience.
