Discovered Shiuli by chance a couple of years ago and is now a regular stop when in Twickenham.
The food is always fantastic and the welcome from all staff, warm.
Most recent visit was on match day, the restaurant was really busy, the atmosphere buzzing and the food maintained its exceptional standard.

Spent my 30th here last month with family. Really good authentic food served here and a warm welcome. Service was good (could have been faster) but on the whole ill be returning for the homemade tiramisu.

Agree it is a Thai treasure so close to home. Friendly staff and great food. We tried the chill lamb stir fry, the seafood curry and penang curry and I must say that the taste was really good.

I live in Manchester and am currently working in London 2 days a week and ordered a takeaway last week which was delivered to the Cabbage Patch pub in Twickenham.
I have eaten in nearly all the restaurants in Rusholme Manchester commonly known as the “Curry Mile” and I have never had a better Lamb Jalfezi in any restaurant there which was as good as the one The Taste of Rag delivered last week and the garlic bread and starter were also excellent.

The food and the service was absolutely great!! They even brought us a little complementary exotic biscuit where you needed to put the liquid from a little cute cup inside and like a little potato croquette on the side! Really nice and delicious! Also it’s funny how the being they wet napkin at the end, they put water and the napkin get big! You should go an experience yourself ?!

First time here. Lovely venue, great service from both people we met.

Sunday roasts were top notch, highly recommended. Good price too.

Only quibble is that the vegan Wellington offering was significantly smaller than the chicken (see photos). I guess that probably reflects food prices. But would've preferred to pay a £ or two more and been full up!

Still, otherwise great, so five stars.

A truly beautiful experience. Me and my partner went here for dinner, and we will definitely be going back. We chose to sit outside the front. Service was very efficient and fast. The food was absolutely to die for! It was incredible, truly. It is definitely worth it! The staff were also very friendly and smiley. Also - perfect portion sizes.

My friends and I were looking for a place to have some quick dinner, and what a great find this was! The restaurant was clean and comfortable, the staff was warm to us and answered any questions we had, and they separated our bill without us even having to ask. The food had so much taste to it, particularly the sushi rice bowl, and the wasabi which had a really strong kick to it.

If I had any constructive criticism, I would say if they had played some music that would’ve helped fill the quietness while we were looking through the menu.

Overall, if I’m ever down in the area again I’ll be sure to come back to Ke Sushi!

Dietary restrictions: They were happy to prepare a dish for my friend who can only eat gluten-free.

Twickenham used to be great for pubs, now sadly they're losing touch ending up as at best mundane, and worst as simple booze dives. This one still has what it takes however. Putting the excellent range of beers (though often interspersed with somewhat trendy 'craft beers' - still a bone of contention for the real ale buffs) to one side for a moment, the pub retains it's original character. Real fires in winter, decent (rather than beautiful) garden for summer. A turntable for music (!) - and then that played at a pleasant volume. Staff are helpful, informed and hard working. Food looks tasety (I haven't tried it but it seems well prepared and unpretentious), and good value for money. Snacks are pricey - but then show me a pub where they aren't.
True this is a real ale lovers CAMRA type pub. But the friendly staff and, lets not forget, the friendly, sometimes eccentric, local clientele, make this a welcoming place to go for a quick drink or an evenings relaxation.
Well worth a trip.

My rowing club, affiliated with Chichester Yacht Club participated in the ' round the island ' race as guests of Mathew ( Bell Founder), with the race organised by the very friendly Richmond Boat Club ??.
All in all an excellent afternoon that was complimented by wall to wall? & warm & friendly service from the pub's staff team.
Having all eyed your pub from afar ( the end of the Great River Race), we were all pleased to have eventually visited you ???... until next time..?

Ordered a chicken salad. When it came to the table the dish consisted of mainly stressed lettuce with a chicken burger fried far too long so it was too crispy to eat. For £13.95 not good value for money. I also had to ask for the dressing because it was so dry. My friend ordered the macaroni cheese. That came in a tiny oval bowl with a tiny bit of salad at the side. Again not good value for money.
