The Monsoon
78 Brick Ln, LondonThis is one of the Indian restaurants along Brick Lane. Had a pretty good curry dinner here recently. Good dining environs, expected range of curries, tandoori and the likes. Staff were friendly, service timely.
During our meal we tried their passanda curry which was a nice 'korma' like curry, sweeter flavour a good complement to the much spicer lamb sylheti jalfrezi which was a really nice curry, just enough spice and flavour to make for a really good curry. Bhaji served were just fine, rice and naan what you expect.
Overall, this was a pretty good curry dinner. There are quite a few good options on Brick Lane, Monsoon seems to be a fair choice if looking for a place in the area. Would eat here again.

Grounded London
9 Whitechapel Rd, LondonI recently visited Grounded London in Whitechapel, and it quickly became one of my favourite brunch spots. The cosy, laid-back atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. I ordered the fantastic vegan pancakes and paired them with a perfectly brewed flat white. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, despite the café being quite busy. They also cater to a wide range of diets, including halal and gluten-free options, which I appreciate. I’ll de back!

Nando's Middlesex Street
120 Middlesex St, LondonAccessible by lift (90 degree turn opening)
Not ideal for a boot mobility scooter but i managed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Felt very welcome, catered for my allergies.
Service is a little slow when busy on weekend but we were happy enough to wait with our unlimited refills.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible. Door can be a little bit of an issue but workable.
Its a 90 degree turn to exit the lift.

Zizzi - St Katharine's Docks
12 Ivory Street, St Katharine's Way, DockGreat location on the docks. It was a busy summer night and we were able to find a restaurant that could accommodate us. They have a patio and seats by the window to overlook the boats in the docking area. The food was good and pizzas were GF friendly and hand-made with love. "Mind your head" when you enter especially if you're over 6' tall ;-)

Costa Coffee
Unit 1 & 2, 64-66 Bethnal Green Rd, LondonI went into costa today and was taken care of by the loveliest of servers. I couldn’t catch his name but he made my experience memorable, this branch is by far my favourite. The place is incredibly clean and well kept, my order was perfect with absolutely no complaints. I like to have my peach tea with extra syrup, no one ever gets it right but this time it was perfect and I didn’t need to say no ice. It’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference. I will definitely be coming back more often now. The service was impeccable, I felt as though I was at a luxe café.

Pret A Manger
Unit 1, Thomas More Square Retail, LondonIf you wonder between the overly large pots and approach slowly you might just stumble upon a pret lurking there, although when it's dark it will scarper away, or when the clock chimes 16.30. Hot chocolate is good, service is fast enough, spacious seating area.

Nando's Whitechapel
9-25 Mile End Rd, Bethnal Green, LondonFood was how I ordered it, the lady with short hair english was lovely had very nice customer service and was very patient while I couldn't decide what I wanted. I haven't been to Nando's first time experience.I give 4 stars to the atmosphere because i didnt dine in, it was super busy. Overall while I was waiting for my food (T1 - 663) at the waiting area i noticed how the staff had very good customer service they were friendly ? and straight way helping customers out. I was shocked with this service because normally in London u get rude ppl. Nope ?♀️ these guys from the chef ??s to the assistants and cashier they work hard and fast and really go the extra mile. I would like to wish ? all of them. The best ? and keep up the fast pace service which isn't easy. Godbless all and extra compliments to chef ?? ?? who cooked my chicken with love ❤️. X

Eat Saigon
6a Toynbee St, LondonI had the Bún Bò Huế (Bun Hue).
I believed the food isn’t cooked by Vietnamese cause Chinese-speakers are in the counter, but the food is relatively good. However the price is quite higher for this area and for such a small place (u can dine in but mostly takeaway).
Not a bad experience in overall.

Costa Coffee
126 Whitechapel High St, AldgateService was not too bad, the coffee was a alright. I got the Latte and my girlfriend got the Mocha. The prices are about level with other coffee shops in the area. However the espresso that they use in the mocha and i’m sure the espresso in general is EXTREMELY STRONG. We aren’t very caffeine sensitive but this was a lot for us lol. It felt like I had 4 monster energy drinks. We had a mocha at the Attendant that tasted much better with way less potency. So just a fair warning to eat a lot of food if you plan to have an espresso or the Mocha because it is quite strong. The place itself is nice and clean as well. Some of the workers are very fast and hard at work and there’s another that’s very slow. But they seem to have a good flow here.

Beigel Bake Brick Lane Bakery
159 Brick Ln, Shoreditch, LondonVisited for a snack after a street art tour in Shoreditch. At 4pm in the afternoon, there was still a line at Beigel Bake. Don't let that put you off, the line moves fast. I ordered the salt beef beigel, and said yes to mustard and gherkin. The bagel (beigel) though nondescript in appearence was warm and moist, the salt beef slices were generous and tender and the cool gherkin just completed the taste experience. This place is a must visit if you're in Shoreditch. Just thinking about the salt beef makes my mouth water.
