Loved this place - great food, service and atmosphere. Dishes are beautifully presented and taste wonderful. Highly recommend the octopus, pink bream and the coal-roasted sweet potato. Zapote also makes a fantastic spicy margarita. Will be back - new favourite restaurant in Shoreditch and definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in London.
This place always delivers 100% and then some more.From the first cocktail to the last dessert, it’s a taste sensation that will leave you wanting more. Every time I go to dinner, I say to myself I must go back more often! It’s an authentic taste of Mexican food that doesn’t exist in London with prices points that won’t break the bank. Excellent food and helpful staff. Some of the food is a small portion, some of them are good to share. Recommended dishes: Secreto al pastor, grilled octopus, corn on the cob, asparagus with crispy kale.Great choice for lunch or dinner with friends.
