A proper old fashioned pub that is loud, raucous, fun, and non pretentious.It might be small, but it is mighty.Good choice of drinks. Didn't eat there, so cannot comment on the food.Service is prompt, yet friendly. Ticks the boxes.
Top destination to watch the football. Was very popular. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Took a little while to get food. This pub is great by me. As old as the hills and although relatively small, has a nice British/English pub atmosphere.
Highlight for me is that it serves Adnams Mosaic Pale Ale, and if that's off, you have Beavertown Neck Oil for a decent pint of ale.
Can't say I've ever eaten in there or stayed all night, but for a few pints and a catch up, it gets my vote.
