London city, central bar with Nicholson's qualities. So similar to the nearby Golden Fleece I had to double check. This corner townhouse style bar is civilised & dignified, with elegance. Modernised in a heritage sensitive manner. Professionally patterned ceiling paper dressed with modern naked chandeliers. Katerina - a wonderful hostess and an even better human being. The care and attention she provides is outstanding. My colleagues and I have been coming to the sugarloaf for many years now and the current staff are great. All very polite, the food is great and the current service has never been better - would recommend to anyone visiting the city. A proper pub with great staff!

Why is this the best Pub in Bank?

The food is at its price, is fantastic. You can get yourself any of the sandiwches on offer, with a beer, for less than £10! IN LONDON! Not only that, the sandwiiches are great, and comes with fries/chips(who orders chips though, lets be real) all in that price.

The drinks are well poured...with a special shout out to Katarina! Pours a fantastic Guiness that everyone should really take note of, and is generally a fantastic hostess!
