Easily one of the better Japanese restaurants in London! We enjoyed a salmon and avocado roll to start, then because of the rain were craving some donburi for mains; I had the unagi don and found the portion size and taste to be fairly good. Was nice to be seated at the bar even without a reservation and the staff were friendly/attentive as well. Thanks for having us!
Today I had the pleasure of being treated to lunch at Sanjugo, what a nice surprise, I found out that This traditional but modern Japanese restaurant has been here for over seven years. Its a lovely little restaurant nestled in the heart of Shoreditch. Apparently the name "Sanjugo" translates to "thirty-five" in Japanese and reflects the restaurant's diverse menu, which offers both traditional and fusion dishes. I've visited this place around five times, and each visit has been consistently positive. The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, particularly for London, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine!!
