As a previous employer of hotel chocolat I was saddened with the service I received today. I was in a queue waiting to be served .. advisor helped the person behind me and when I highlighted I was waiting first there was no apology, no smile , no hello and after transaction no thank you and goodbye. This does not apply to all staff as I have been in before and was happy with the service. I bought a hot chocolate and it was the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my life, no joke, most hot chocolates they use chocolate powder, but not at the chocolate hotel all real ingredients, also the Salted Caramel buttons are to die for.

I enjoyed a 50% milky hot chocolate. I especially liked the most delicious cocoa whip which was like eating a mousse. The hot chocolate I found over sweet but never mind. I unfortunately suffered later from having this treat with a severe migraine and sickness but serves me right thinking I could get away with consuming 50% cocoa being a migraine sufferer!
