The downstairs area is very, very cool, and cosy. Nice music, not too loud at all, comfortable seating, stylish decor; nice tea and coffee, with casual seating including sofas, with more cafe-like tables nearer the entrance. There is also a bar furthest from the entrance, and another bar on the top level, I believe.
The place is stylish and cozy.Not only it was comfortable in here, but the coffee served was actually a good one (surprisingly, as usually the hotel coffees weren't, in my experience).The interior design, lighting predisposes to study, work, read, so I've spent my time productively in here.And although there was a background music, it was a chilly-jazzy mix, which didn't bother/distract.Bonus: some places have nice London Tower views.Finally and importantly, a welcoming staff,...read full review

Was not expecting much from the coffee shop downstairs- usually hotels have terrible coffee. This was a massive surprise. Ordered an oat flat white, the barista gave me a normal one by accident and very quickly apologised and remade it with oat milk.Silky and string flat white- solid 9/10
