Possibly the management put the emphasis on staffing the evening trade, we called for lunch and there was just one person manning the bar and dealing with lunch orders. Slow service such as this is tolerated as their meal and drink specials are just under their main competitors prices, portion sizes are smaller than Brewers Fayre and Sizzlers in the same price range. Its a wetherspoons... food acceptable,.service good. Apologised for not having the wine i ordered in stock and replacement bought.Please fix the squeaky door... its a noise which sets teeth on edge.

It's ok. You only go here for the cheap drinks. Always get weirdos approaching you trying to be your friend and tell you about what happened 50 years ago.Toilets are reasonably clean compared to other Wetherspoons I've been too.They have sold out of spirits while I'm there on many occasions.The decor is very dated but like I said, you only really go here for cheap drinks.
