Couldn't fault this place!
We came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon - we had mains for the lunch menu plus several starters. When they heard we were here for our daughter's birthday, they brought out a dessert with a candle to sing Happy Birthday.
We order salt & pepper squid at every Chinese restaurant we go to, and this was the best! Also absolutely loved the gyōzas and the crispy duck. Our waitress also suggested the seaweed salad which was delicious.
Thank you for such wonderful service and excellent food. ❤️ We'll definitely be coming back.

I enjoyed my meal in this place on my trip to London

- The meal quality was satisfactory and I was overall happy with it however, the plate sizes were small and not presentable. I also found that the meal sizes in this restaurant were relatively smaller compared to other similar places.

- The customer service was great and the food was served very efficiently without any unnecessary delay. The tea and the afghani sweet were also amazing.

- The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming with a beautiful decoration which was a mixed of traditional and modern designs

Overall, I enjoyed visiting this place

My fiance and I held our engagement drinks at The Belmont and it was the perfect venue for a private party! We were able to hire the whole venue with exclusive access for a very reasonable price. Management was very accommodating, easy going and helpful. Drink prices are more than reasonable with great offers. They’re open til late and provide security on the door within hire charge. Can provide a DJ or can bring your own. They were aall so able to organise welcome drinks for our guests! Had the best and most memorable engagement drinks party here and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a venue to hire exclusively!

I recently visited Ammachi and had a fantastic experience. The Ghee Roast was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of crispiness and rich flavor. The Kumbakonam filter coffee was also a highlight—smooth, strong, and authentically brewed, a must-try for coffee lovers.

Tip: Parking can be a bit tricky. I found it easiest to park at Tesco nearby and take a 5-minute walk to the restaurant. It’s worth it!

Gaana Restaurant is lovely if you love Tamil dishes packed full of spices- especially in Koththu Roti, Chicken Biriyani etc. The Falooda that they serve is delicious and is a great finisher for your main course meal (though I will say it is a tad too sweet for my liking, personally). Service is lovely and fast, therefore great for those who are on the go or have errands to run! It's great to dine in or takeway when you're feeling peckish after a long day in Rayners Lane (or just Harrow in general). We had catering done from BC for a Haldi function at home and chose them as we love the food , restaurant and service/people having used their function room before. Dhaval was my contact for everything and the dishes we chose for 45 people were all outstanding - our guest agreed . The service from the BC staff on the night arranging the food layout and keeping things warm was excellent and they were all very approachable. We would definitely use BC for any future functions and highly recommend the food ! Thank you Dhaval and the whole team at BC .

The Royal Oak has quickly become one of my all-time favorite pubs, and my dad and I keep coming back for more! We went for lunch yesterday, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. The pub has a dark, slightly gloomier atmosphere that I absolutely love—it’s cozy, inviting, and the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The staff are always friendly and add to the warm vibe.

I had the mac and cheese with a side of garlic bread, and my dad had the bacon beef cheeseburger. Both meals were excellent! The mac and cheese was hands down the highlight for me—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Honestly, I’d die for that mac and cheese! Portion size was just right, and it was wonderfully filling. My dad’s burger was juicy and tender, served with perfectly fried fries. The only tiny hiccup was the onion rings, which were slightly under-done for my taste, but that’s just a personal preference.

The only downside to our visit was the wait for food, especially considering the pub wasn’t particularly busy. But other than that, everything else was spot on, as always. The Royal Oak will definitely continue to be a go-to spot for us!

Parking: Plenty of parking available in the two adjacent shopping centers- St Ann's and St George's.

This restaurant/takeaway is clean with plenty of seating available, though it can get quite busy with online orders. Parking can be a challenge. As for the food, the menu offers a wide variety, including grilled fish and vegan/vegetarian options, which is great to see nowadays. I ordered the regular cod and chips along with a portion of onion rings. The cod gets a 3.5/5 from me—nice crispy batter, but the portion was small for the price. I’d rate the chips 3/5. Unfortunately, the onion rings, though I was told they were made in-house, were clearly frozen. As other reviewers have noted, the prices are a bit steep for what you get, but it seems the demand keeps them steady. On a positive note, the service was good, and the staff member was polite. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, but I might stop by if I’m already in the area.

I was drawn in by the incredible aroma, and I'm glad we decided to dine here. The Arabic-style chicken shawarma and seasoned chips were incredibly tasty, and the mixed grill impressed with juicy, flavorful meat and kofta. The lamb chops were okay.The service from the gentleman at the counter and the lady serving our table was exceptional—5 stars for their politeness and helpfulness.
