A little gem that serves delicious and authentic Taiwanese street food. My kids, hubby and I enjoyed it. We lived in Asia for 10 years and went to Taiwan a few times. The food at Bao Bao is amazing. Situated in central Croydon, easy to get to by public transport or cab - they offer 2 for 1 cocktails until midnight ( they are actually decent cocktails too).Really interesting menagerie of people! Music is good once you've had enough cocktails. (They played Candy when we went, so many people, so many different directions.)They'll give you a free shot for a decent review but I'm actually writing this from home so this is an honest review and not written after being bribed with alcohol.Staff are friendly and they know their cocktails.Now the toilets, the toilets are a bit grim. They're unisex toilets which means boy pee is EVERYWHERE - not the kind of toilets you'd spend time in chatting to a stranger and planning a holiday to Majorca with. I hope you've been working legs because it's a half squat situation so as not to touch anything with your bare skin.So yeh, 5 stars for the staff1 star for the toilets

Brilliant place!!!!!Came here with my GF yesterday and it was SUCH a fun day.Excellent, friendly staff, sooooo many games to choose from, comfy seating, table service with cool buzzer things (including drinks, food, beer on tap and even cocktails) and it's even dog friendly too.Will absolutely be returning and spending the entire day there.

Real Taste of India Croydon

Organized a baby shower function with 50 members head count at real taste of India party hall. First of all I need to say about Mr.sreekumar sir who was very down to earth who tirelessly attended phone calls and was always available to sort out things on the function day. The staff there were need to manage party as well as their table bookings. To say about food it was really auspicious with their taste of the south indian rice and food was delivered as expected and on time. All over the function was really ended well with all the team members effort. Thank you team for the overwhelming memories happened there.

Chat House Indian Restaurant

I've been a regular at Chat House, and every time I've ordered, the food arrives piping hot and wonderfully fresh. My favourite dish is their Tandoori Shashlik Chicken – the caramelized onions and green peppers break up the curry dishes very well. The Tikka Masala, with its perfect balance of cream and spices, is my second go-to; it's so good that I sometimes opt for it without any meat. The onion bhajis are also very well done here. While their vegetarian options are great for someone who's trying to eat less meat, I'd appreciate more curry-only choices. I'm not always a fan of potatoes in curry and I like to add the veg separately. Lastly, recently there's been a change in the mint yogurt sauce recipe – it's now yellow and not as moreish as it used to be, however this doesn't detract from the overall quality of the food! Thank you so much for such amazing food and a very recent price! I can't wait to eat here in person!Vegetarian options: You can swap meat for veg in any curry. Veg includes an assortment of tomato, onion, potato, okra and other greens.

Ordered through Uber Eats and added a wrong delivery address by mistake. Called the restaurant to try changing the delivery address and the women on the phone was super kind and helpful. I received my delivery to the address I asked for. Thanks so much. Most importantly, the quality of pizza is surely the best in the entire Croydon area. Strongly recommended to try!

Aqua Bar & Grill - Croydon

I was recommended this restaurant whilst on a recent work trip and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The crispy duck salad was lovely and a light way to start my dinning experience. To follow I had the sirloin steak which melted in the mouth and was cooked to perfection. The chunky chips were crispy but not to hard in the middle. I finished with a bailey's creme brulee, crispy top and just right inside. There was a new member of staff training and although he was very new the basics were there, we'll mannered and engaging. The only very slight downside was one of the members of staff had a cold and kept sniffing it up which was a bit distracting. Well worth a visit.

Went for dinner with friends n family. It was good place. Food was delicious and service was good. The only thing not excellent for 5 star rating was the red wine. It was not great..I have had better Merlot. But still overall a good experience.

Her love for giving exceptional customer experience shined as she hand-made Yana’s pizza who wanted to choose her own toppings and it was so fresh, yummy and amazing to see amazing personalised customer service and Yolanda being so dynamic and versatile – to see a general manager know from experience how to do all roles within the restaurant.From our negative experience at Pizza Express Bromley (Wigmore Road) we were offered as a gesture of good will on the company to dine with them for free at a restaurant of our choice and it was the easiest decision to choose to come back to Pizza Express Croydon.Once again, we find ourselves back at Pizza Express Croydon where we spend many hours being treated by the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team at this restaurant (Two friendly female waitresses and one male waiter with dark hair). But what truly set this Pizza Express apart was Yolanda going above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect. Went back to this place after a long time and was pleasantly impressed with the food esp the starters. Chili Paneer / Chili Fish / Maru Bhajias / Prawns. All these were to my spicy taste. If you don’t like spicy I suggest you let them know. Was not happy with the Dosa, was expecting a crispy Dosa but had a soft one, not happy with that. Will still go back for starters and may try other main.

Although I am always trying out different restaurants.Sangri Indian is one that I return to because their food is comforting just like this restaurant in Stepney Green which closed down.I love their vegetable side dishes as well as their rice.The lemon rice I had is fluffy and appetizing which goes well with lots of dishes and the spinach mushroom side is amazing.Also tried the butterfly king prawn which was massive as they use a whole tiger prawn.

Visited this place for the first time. Halaal food available. We decided to eat in. They were friendly and served fairly big portions.. Food were quite nice. They Gave us some complementary baklava. We wanted to take some of the unfinished food with us and again they were very accommodating.

Nando's Croydon - Valley Leisure Park

We visited on a Saturday and it was busy (an hour wait for table of two). So we decided to order online for pick up, we were then greeted by Danielle who ensured we had cutlery and all the sauces to go with our meal. She was absolutely lovely and gave us a positive experience. Unfortunately a few ingredients were forgotten in our fino pita, which is why we couldn’t give 5 stars for the food. Other than the small mistake, we enjoyed our meal and overall service. We will visit again!

Easily the best kebab I have ever had. Fast delivery, delicious hot food. The meat is always super tender and flavourful. All the items come separate from each other so the bread doesn't get greasy and you can tailor build your kebab. Wouldn't even bother getting another kebab knowing that J&D are open! 10/10

Honestly such a great kebab shop. Friday night is my takeaway night and believe me i will always opt for Empire! I get a chicken shish, which is absolutely delicious. Chicken is succulent and has so much flavour. There has not been one occasion where I haven’t enjoyed it. No other kebab shop can compare!
