38 Old Town, LondonIt's just an absolute treat to drink at the Prince of Wales in Clapham.
After a walk over the common it's a great place for a refreshing pint, either on the outside tables looking into the old town, or inside.
Indoors you'll find a fabulous collection of everything from old time pub and drinking equipment to mounted animal heads, bunting and an inflatable Spider Man.
I love this pub: there's so much to take in, the drinks choice is reasonable for a small venue and it's got a group of regulars who cluster at the bar. I visited with my cousin Stevecand we sat next to a decades old gin dispenser and a classic fireplace.
There's a feel of the theatrical about the place too, and the locals know it as Pow Pow Pow thanks to its illuminated outdoor signage.

202-204 Clapham High St, LondonThe staff were the friendliest of any coffee shop I've been to, plus the place was extremely tidy with regular wipe-down and clearing of tables (not something I've come to expect from Starbucks). It made for a very pleasant place to sit down with a coffee!

KFC Clapham - High Street
106-108 Clapham High St, LondonOrdered via the app and the wrong order was delivered. Contacted Uber who did absolutely nothing except “according to their policy on this occasion they cannot offer a refund” but they were not helpful and could not explain the policy- do better ! I then resolved to contacting Clapham KFC and they were extremely helpful, I explained what had happened and the actions I had taken. Serge (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) was very understanding and even looked for the order and prepared it for collection. Thank you for being kind and understanding.

KFC London - Lavender Hill
244 Lavender Hill, LondonThat’s our local KFC, and always busy.At the weekend, we ordered for a collection and only found out some chicken pieces were missing when we got home. We returned to the shop , the staff were actually waiting for us to come back. They offered some fresh fries , complimentary drink and extra chicken popcorn to us!
