Piccolos
15 Ace Parade, ChessingtonDelicious pizzas, friendly team and great atmosphere! The perfect place for a birthday lunch after the escape room and only a 2 minute walk. The team at Piccolos were so friendly and accommodating for our party of 15 dining in. Pizzas were freshly prepared in front of us and ready in minutes. Thank you Sam and the rest of the team.

The Chessington Oak
Moor Ln, ChessingtonStaff always nice and work as well as they can under pressure. We come here for the football games, and on nice days as the seating area outside is nice and open. Was served by Jack several times, and was pleasantly surprised at his knowledge of every regular customer’s orders and attention to detail. Would highly recommend!

Saffron Summer
4, Ace Parade, Hook Rise S, ChessingtonWe visited Saffron Sunner this evening for the first time. First class service from a lovely waiter who knew the perfect balance between attentive and discretion. My food was delicious, from the first bite of popudum I knew I was in for a treat (freshly made). I'm an British-Indian takeaway girl at heart so I ordered my usual frankenstein dish of biryani and korma sauce which they sorted no trouble and OMG that korma sauce. It was genuinely so nice I almost wanted to cry (no exaggeration). The Buryani was fine, nothing special but I will shout out the amount and size of chicken in it. Totally worth the price and I will be eating here again the next time I visit the area.

Gilders Fish Bar
94 Gilders Rd, ChessingtonGilders place is a cosy small place for mainly take out the lobby is not too design for eat in. it is mostly take out orders abd it is prepared to serve. If you are in haste then this place is not an option. unlike the name bar, alcohol is not served here. The lobby is neat and you may have to spend up to 10 pounds before you can be allowed a card transaction otherwise its cash.Vegetarian options: They do offer an handful vegetarian meals.Dietary restrictions: There are no restrictions and allergies are clearly spelt outKid-friendliness: They have a kid menu but the dine in area is not kids friendly though

Chessington Palace Kebab & Fish Bar
Chessington North Railway Station, Bridge Rd, ChessingtonSaw mixed reviews but decided to give it a try for a Friday Fish and Chips and thought I’d set the record straight. Bad news Waited 20 minutes to get served. That’s the longest I’ve had to wait in a Chippy. Also ordered the curry sauce which was tiny. Good news: Chips were cooked to perfection, nice and fluffy and the portion was generous. Curry sauce was tasty albeit a little small. Fish was soft and succulent and tasted fresh. Overall Quite impressed with the quality and portion size. Curry sauce could have been bigger.

Red Rose of Chessington
334 Hook Rd, Hook, ChessingtonWe switched to the Red Rose about a year ago and honestly we haven’t looked back. The food is of the very highest standard, from the tenderly cooked meat and excellent sauces to the generous portions. I can’t imagine there’s a better takeaway curry house in the whole of Surrey !

Adventure Point Pizza Pasta
ChessingtonAll you can eat pizza and pasta buffet, about £50 for a family of four, which includes pizza, pasta, a token salad bar, and fountain drinks from Coke. There's a lot of pizza and pasta and it's fresh but not great quality. They are cooked fresh. The team there were friendly and working hard on a hot and busy day.

Zafari Bar and Grill
Chessington Safari Hotel, Leatherhead Rd, ChessingtonAfter reading previous reviews I had low expectations for the food at the restaurant, however we were more than pleasantly surprised with our meals! £58 for 2 mains, 2 soft drinks, a side and a kids meal we thought was very reasonable, and the food was amazing! We had the Cajun chicken pasta and the pulled pork burger, both were filling and tasted lovely. The kids meal was peas, fish fingers and chips and was a good size portion, 3 fish fingers. Only annoyance was staff kept squeezing past our high chair instead of walking round the other tables.

Vampire’s Burger Kitchen
Leatherhead Rd, ChessingtonAll I can say is this outlet is the only place that was good in Chessington and were happy to assist adults with learning disabilities, their colleagues need to take a leaf out of their books. The manager/assistant manager and young lady served a great lunch up for 36 people. The food was hot, service amazing and I cannot thank them enough for the help and support. The rest of the staff at Chessington should be ashamed of themselves, perhaps the staff could tell me, as a local authority care provider what a “disabled person” should look like!
