O'Neill's Kings Cross
73-77 Euston Rd., Greater, Marylebone, LondonMet a friend for a late lunch which I had booked 3 months ago. The venue had lost my booking but that was not a problem (although slightly embarrassing as I always book well in advance wherever I go rather than turning up unannounced) as the venue was not very busy and there were several tables available. The staff members were polite, friendly and provided an efficient customer service. We were made to feel genuinely welcome as customers. There were no prices printed on the menu and the "mix and match" offer did not state what it consisted of. How many dishes, how much, etc. We shared five small plates together with a couple of pints of Guinness each and the food and drinks were of excellent quality and the overall bill was very reasonable. I look forward to returning to this venue in the future.

The Euston Flyer, Euston Road
83-87 Euston Rd., LondonNice pub. Lots of space and a good sized menu for dinner. I got the daily pie. I think it was guiness and beef? Anyways it was good. Food is a bit pricy, though; dinner will probably run you almost £20 for an entree, but the quality was there.

Nando's Camden
57-58 Chalk Farm Rd, Chalk Farm, LondonFirst time I heard about nandos was in 2010, when I lived in London. 14 years after I was able to come back to London and look for the place that was my favorite during my stay and yes, it was still there, with a wider menu but with the same amazing taste. I highly recommend nandos. This place helped me feel closer to home while I was in the UK.
Nandos is definitely an option for those of us who love flavorful food, they have a wide variety of sauces and the quality of the food is premium. If you have the opportunity DON'T MISS IT

Nando's Euston
Unit 5, The Piazza, Euston Station, Euston Rd., LondonI visited Nandos on my own at Euston station on 10 July 24. It was very busy and the only place to sit was a bar stool at the window. I was shown to the seat by Erica. I'm in my 60's and had a large heavy bag with me. Erica was very helpful and checked that I would be OK sitting there. Even though all the staff were rushed off their feet Erica came back to make sure I was OK at that seat. What excellent service! I always go to Nandos when I'm at Euston because the food is great and carbon zero free but on that day Erica's attentive and friendly service made the visit extra spacial. Thank you Erica and apologies that it took me so long to write this review.

Starbucks Coffee
Unit 24, Midland Road St Pancras International Station, LondonI was taking the eurostar from this station and decided to look for a place to charge my phone and hopefully get on the wifi, starbucks has entered the chat. When I went it was later in the evening so I was able to place my order right away. I work part time at sbux here in the states and I get a discount when I am at other stores so I asked the barista if I could still get my discount even tho I was from the states. She said she should be able to but as it turns out it would not go through. The girl said "oh that's ok, this one is on me because I want you to have a good holiday" and she rang up my drink free of charge. She really did go above and beyond because I was not demanding nor expecting a free drink just a discount. The lobby was full so I was not able to find a seat nearby with an outlet. Me and my friend decided to go over next door to the burger place instead. This is nothing against the wonderful team at sbux is just that the lobby was full. Great customer service here, would love to go back again.

wagamama camden
11 Jamestown Rd, LondonWagamama in Camden offers a contemporary take on Japanese cuisine in a bustling and trendy area of London. Known for its communal dining style and freshly prepared dishes, this Wagamama location promises a vibrant atmosphere. However, my recent visit highlighted several areas for improvement that detracted from the overall dining experience.
The service at this Wagamama was notably lacking. Despite the restaurant's reputation for efficient and friendly service, our experience was quite the opposite. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and our orders were taken with noticeable delays. When the green tea arrived, it was served in a strangely dirty cup, which was off-putting and raised concerns about cleanliness standards.
The interior of the restaurant was very hot, making it uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. Given the high foot traffic in Camden, it’s understandable that the restaurant gets busy, but proper ventilation or air conditioning would greatly improve the dining experience, especially on warmer days. Additionally, the bench seating was not comfortable, contributing to the overall sense of discomfort during our visit.
Despite these issues, the food quality was consistent with what you would expect from Wagamama. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from ramen and donburi to teppanyaki and katsu curry. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. The Chicken Katsu Curry, a staple at Wagamama, was flavorful and satisfying. The vegetarian options, such as the Yasai Yaki Soba, were also well-received for their taste and portion size.
Wagamama was founded in 1992 in London and has since become a global brand known for its minimalist decor and emphasis on communal dining. The Camden location reflects the brand’s philosophy but unfortunately falls short in terms of service and comfort.
In conclusion, while Wagamama in Camden maintains the chain's standard for good food, the poor service, uncomfortable seating, and lack of proper ventilation significantly impacted our visit. Improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

The Ice Wharf - JD Wetherspoon
Units 1-2 Suffolk Wharf, 28 Jamestown Rd, LondonA great place for a break from the hustle of Camden Market (and take advantage of free toilets - they're £1 to use in the stables)Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we didn't eat as we didn't think the price mark up was fair (at our local Wetherspoon in South West London 3 tapas plates are around £12, here they are over £18!) But we enjoyed out drinks and will be back.A real cider option would be good though, only commercial fizzy stuff or over priced bottles available.

The Black Heart
3 Greenland Pl, LondonNever expected to find an amazing vegan Sunday roast at a rock bar, but here we are! This place has nailed it. Crispy potatoes, plenty of veg, and a hearty tofu centerpiece hit all the right notes. The vegan crackling was the cherry on top. It all went down a treat, proving comfort food classics can be reinvented without losing their soul. Great atmosphere, though the goth decor might make you forget it's daytime. A headbanger's vegan paradise!
