20 Church St, Wotton-under-EdgeWe travelled 45 minutes to come here for my partners birthday. It was well worth the travel. Lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious and the staff were all very attentive. Highly recommend for those wanting decent good quality food.

68 Wotton Rd, Charfield, Wotton-under-EdgeOh what fun nights. Busy, happy party vibe on Friday night when the piano gets dragged out and the locals start singing. Steve the barman is fantastic and Darren the landlord makes everyone feel at home. Best pub I've been to for atmosphere in yonks.

The Fleece Inn, Hillesley
Chapel Ln, Hillesley, Wotton-under-EdgeCute country pub. Went mid week and felt like outsiders walking in, but the bar staff were super friendly. We had food and sat in the dining room. It was a great place to catch up with an old friend. We were out of the main bar, but could still hear the live music in the background.

The Huntsman
Bristol Rd, Falfield, Wotton-under-EdgeWe stopped here en route to a local destination, the idea being to have a decent meal before we arrived.
I picked this place, due to ease of finding, right on the A38, good parking for mobility issues, and on our way.
What we got was a great traditional, traveller's pub, very helpful and friendly staff, all matched by a good choice of food for everyone, including vegan, that was very tasty, fairly priced and served in a timley manner.
The room is huge, with space between table and chairs, and very comfortable to sit in for dining.
If we pass here again, we'll definitely return.

Bradley Rd, Wotton-under-EdgeLovely local farmshop not far from Wotton-Under-Edge. The cafe was busy when we last visited. Has the Cook range of ready meals so bought some lunch with some lovely local fresh bread.

Wotton British Takeaway
11 High St, Wotton-under-EdgeFor the 4th consecutive year we arranged for the delivery of more than 60 meals to a Wotton Youth Football Club presentation event & as always, Wotton British Takeaway handled the order superbly.

Delayed on M5 after placing ordering I rang to update I'd be late collecting. I messaged to say I fortunately I was still on M5 and wouldn't make 10pm closing but would go and pay next day for my order, it was not their fault! I later had a call to ask how it was going and to my amazement & delight the shop owner although closed waited for me to collect. An amazing above and beyond gesture, so appreciated as after a long time visiting Hosp it was much needed. It was kept warm and was delicious ? Thank you so much for your consideration and help shown to me ?

Hong Kong Kitchen

When I first saw the place I could tell the shop was ran by the old boys, the run down look matched experienced season Hong Kong Chinese veterans. Unfortunately, it seems I’m some years too late to meet them. I was greeted by a Mainland China owner who was a Mandarin speaker. This must be the “new management” which the other reviews have mentioned.
They were openly and proudly advertising their mixed salt and pepper box for £20 on the front desk so I thought they must be quite proud of their salt and pepper dishes. So I ordered Salt and Pepper Chicken.
With due respect to them, they can make a good salt and pepper dish. So far my 3 days of sampling Chinese takeaways in this area. I found what might be a winner for salt and pepper! This salt and pepper variant is popular in the midlands, not often found elsewhere where in England. They follow the double deep fried anthology so even if its been sat in the container for some 15 minutes its not soggy, still crispy!
Cannot fault them for their salt and pepper dishes. Potentially best in this area if not at least compared to the local villages.
Unfortunately, this is where I have to end their praise but I will be critical, not negative.
Their BBQ pork fried rice was somewhat tasteless. Lacked some flavour, rice was too dry, not enough soy sauce used. But it is slightly offset by the default large container - making it decent for value. I have to commend them for the generous portion size. Also need to include that their egg fried rice has the same consistency of dryness regretfully.
The boss lady was very friendly to me, I was happy with her service.

The Royal Oak Inn
3-5 Haw St, Wotton-under-EdgeLovely pub with super friendly staff. We went there a few times and it was always great. Becky is such a lovely lady and we felt welcomed like home every time. Food was good and there is a pizza food truck every Thursday. I can only recommend this nice place!

13-15 Church St, Wotton-under-EdgeStumbled across this place and had a wonderful meal, lovely hot curry fantastic fresh naan Breads and lovely rice a really nice surprise, great staff we shall be back for more. Dining room is a little tatty but don't let that put you off.
