The service was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening. We all enjoyed our meals, which were delicious and well-prepared, showcasing authentic Thai flavours. The prices were very reasonable for the quality offered. I would highly recommend Thai Basil to anyone looking for a great Thai dining experience!

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends. The staff, including Gabby, provided exceptional service, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. The drinks were fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place was just what I was looking for. Can't wait to come back again soon! The song I was looking for is “all the small things”

Foxhills Cafe & Gifts
24 High St, Thornbury, Bristolfriends and family recently booked table for 7 arrived to be told they had booked cream teas which they hadn't were pressured into accepting it food arrived dry sandwiches, stale crisps, no tea or coffee, no serviettes or cutlery, they ordered and paid for coffees separately. Massive queue waiting to pay so they left, waitress followed them outside where they paid £30 generous considering the horrible food they hadn't ordered and didn't eat! Owner then shamed them publicly on social media as vile people who left without paying and with no way to defend or explain what actually happened. They are not vile people. They are unhappy customers who didn't want to pay for something they didn't book, didn't want, and didn't eat! and were not about to pay £25 each for. Fair play to them for refusing to put up with bad service horrible food and being ripped off! Read some of the other reviews on their website and this I not an isolated incident.

Casa la Cucina Italiana (Thornbury)
4 High St, Thornbury, BristolWe have just had the most amazing meal at Casa, a afternoon treat for my birthday, The food was served piping hot and perfectly cooked. Lovely atmosphere and the server was very attentive without being over the top. My Calzone was HUGE and had so much filling my partner had to help finish it. The steak was cooked to perfection. Skin on chips, but they were really crispy and fluffy inside. Dessert wise, I had the Tiramisu, which was just gorgeous, thick and creamy filling and a good size serving. We had a mid afternoon meal on a Tuesday, so it was rather quiet. Please note, they close at 3pm on an afternoon, so make sure you book with enough time to order and enjoy your meal.
Definitely a place we will visit again and would happily recommend it.
Parking: There are a number of free car parks in Thornbury centre, short stay for 2 hours, long stay up to 10 hours, all 5 mins walk from the restaurant

We had the fully loaded 'breakfast in bread' and a dirty one pan wonder, they were presented well, hot and delivered within the 40min - 60min time frame. It's great to have this option, supporting our local cafe but enjoying a lazy Sunday at home! Thanks Hawkes House!

Our drinks order was taken, whilst we chose our food. Our food arrived piping hot & well presented - we were also tempted by the desserts. A lovely old pub with so much history, friendly staff & lovely food. We will definitely be back for another family gathering.

Chris is what customer service standards should be measured against. Great with my kids. Accommodating, conversational and great at what he does. By far the best place for a something to eat or drink in thornbury.
