Caffe E Vino
78 Church St, TewkesburyAte here three times in a week. There is no shortage of places to eat in Tewkesbury, so that’s saying something.
Food is lovely and fresh, and not too heavy. Absolutely bloody delicious. We said multiple times - we wish there was an Italian like this near us! Would personally recommend the vegan dark chocolate and banana bread (with a big scoop of the non-vegan choc chip icecream!)
Staff are friendly, professional and efficient. They are just so lovely and so eager to please.
I am only sorry we couldn’t eat there more. There were more menu items we wanted to try!

The Fox & Hounds Bredon
Church St, Bredon, TewkesburyWe came this morning for a birthday brunch, and our food was absolutely delicious. The service was great, the staff were really friendly. You could tell just by the looks of it that the food was good quality, and the fact that it was all sourced locally made it even more appealing. The taste of everything was amazing! Rosado Lounge
103-105, Church St, TewkesburyWe really enjoyed the food, my wife had a salad and I had the Lounge Burger both were great. The Burger was top quality and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was ok.. We sat near the bar and the blender the very noisy but was probably to be expected on a Saturday. The service was friendly, a dirty beer glass was replaced quickly and the staff were very apologetic.

Crystal Rivers
117/118 High St, TewkesburyGreat service, great food, great time!
My Wife and I were lucky enough to attend the relaunch as Sapphire and we were both thoroughly impressed with both the food and the new decor which added a quite lavish feel.
Lobster and lamb chops to start, although my lobster was amazing, nicely seasoned and cooked very well, I still found myself with food envy for the lamb chops.
It had been quite a few years since I'd had lamb chops as memorable as the ones my better half ordered tonight and let me try (I'd have probably kept them for myself had I ordered them)
For mains we had the lamb naga which had the perfect balance of heat and aroma, the lamb just melted in the mouth, as tender as could be, we also had the chicken Shashlik which was more suited to milder curry fan but no less flavourful.
To accompany the delicious mains we had mushroom rice, although simple, it had care taken to elevate into a standout dish on its own, the saag paneer was a lovely little addition and we've finally found cheesy naan that has a cheese pull to satisfy.
10/10 will be going back

The Bell
Church St, TewkesburyI stayed here with my sister for the weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lovely twin room, we stayed in room 9 which is in the old building above the kitchen, which wasn't noisy. A fan and fire were suppled, which were not needed. The beds were super comfy with very nice bedding.
The bathroom is old but to be expected of a very old building, lots of hot water! The manageress Molly told us the bathrooms are to be refurbished when possible.
Great food, breakfasts really nice with two really lovely waitresses who could not do enough for you.
Sunday lunch was to die for, three meats and all the trimmings and again service wonderful.
Rooms: There are two low level accommodation buildings attached to the hotel which look nice, the online photos do not do this Hotel justice. There was scaffolding at the front of the Hotel when we stayed and I believe they are painting so no noise.
Nearby activities: The Bell is over the road from Tewksbury Abbey, which is well worth a visit. Check when open to the public as tours are available.
The market is open on Saturday mornings, its at the other end of town and worth a look.
Tewksbury has lots of shops, especially charity shops.
There are lovely walks by the river and a good choice of Historic hotels to stop at.
Walkability: The Bell is an old building with little steps in doorways but you can see them. If staying in the main building there are a few stairs to your room.
Noteworthy details: The staff in this hotel are so lovely and a credit to Molly who runs it. Nothing is too much trouble, you just have to ask.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Charlies Kebab Van
3 Ashchurch Pkwy, TewkesburyBelter
Cheeky little side of the road van, aint trying to charge the world and ain't spending the world on the best ingredients but still well prepared and cooks the food with knowledge and passion. And this is what really shows to me.
Lovely polite chap serving, served us a massive portion, warmed the bap up on the grill. Had Pickled green chillies which was a welcomed changed for my normal kebabs that I order.
If I'm passing through again I'll be sure to drop in.
I know I voted 5 with an atmosphere of 2 but your on a flipping industrial estate, so you get what you expect but I honestly can't put it high on individual but I got way more than I expected and that's why it gets a 5 ✌️
Charlie, or whomever served us today, spot on man ?
Vegetarian options: Meh, it's a kebab van... There are veggie things but, it's a kebab van... Choose your battles ?

Tewkesbury Park
Park, Lincoln Green Ln, TewkesburyLovely hotel and breakfast was fantastic. There is no guest directory in the room and the App is useless. It doesn't even give you check out or breakfast times. They don't offer room service which is disappointing. Overall the room was well presented with a few annoyances such as the incorrect sized toilet seat being fitted and only one plug socket to service both the kettle and the coffee machine.

The Abbey Hotel
67 Church St, TewkesburyI am disabled so no ground floor rooms I was on 1st floor bit of a climb but made it room was quite big the only problem for me was a short flight of stairs to bathroom a nice size plenty of hot water bed was a little hard but I had a good nights sleep nice and warm room no connections for usb but plenty of power points breakfast was really nice friendly staff and breakfast was served in residents room because I had my dog with me Lexi was treated to a sausage breakfast as well so she was happy as well car park at the back so that was really helpful I didn't know they had room service I paid £90 with a dog and breakfast standard rate the room was clean and plenty of tea coffee milk and sugar the towels were exceptionally clean as was the bed clothes I really recommend this place as it's not far from shops and restaurants also near to Abbey will be staying when I go to Tewkesbury next

Zitto e Mangia
25 High St, TewkesburyWe had dinner here and it was excellent. The staff clearly knew several customers by name as well as what they liked to eat and drink so they obviously have a lot of return diners. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. I like that the venue feels intimate and authentic, and you can fully view the kitchen if you want. The staff were attentive and friendly and I believe that the waitress Ruby had just started but she'll definitely be a great addition to their team.
The food was beautifully presented and the flavours were wonderful. You can ask for slight tweaks, my father-in-law had extra chilli and garlic, nothing is too much trouble. I thought the portion sizes were good and they are happy to box up anything you can't finish.
The restaurant is in the High Street so parking is on the road if you're lucky enough to get a spot or in a public car park.
My only criticism is that they have a crazy knife design. If you want to know what that means you'll have to go and find out ?
