Restaurants in Severn Beach
The Plough
Pilning St, Pilning, BristolWe became aware of this pub because many motorhomes and campervans were allowed to stay here overnight. It was on the way here.
The arrival was sobering. Dirty. Even the arrival was not a welcome. The house and the parking lot are no feast for the eyes.
Since we had a lot of kilometers behind us, we stayed.
But the pub inside didn't have a feel-good atmosphere either. An unpleasant smell, a primitive interior.
Not a place where we would like to eat.
But the service staff behind the counter was friendly and attentive. She made our presence a little more pleasant. We ordered the Gammon Steak and the Hunter Chicken.
So, the food was excellent. A large portion, hot and tasty. Top. The price was right too.
So.
The restaurant inside and out and the parking lot need renovation.
The staff, service and kitchen were top. The highlight of this visit.

The King's Arms
Redwick Rd, Pilning, Redwick, BristolHired for a private party, access to own room with bar access, pool table and darts board with pub garden. Food buffet was amazing, plenty of choice and variety, and more than enough for guests to go back 3/4 times throughout the evening. Throughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub and the guests had a great evening too.
