The White Hart Royal Hotel
High St, Moreton-in-MarshWe have just been here for Sunday Lunch while on holiday in the Cotswold. We bought our dog with us who is very nervous and they were brilliant with her when we asked to be put on a table in the corner. We were in the snug bar and the service was brilliant. Straight to our table and drinks and food were both really quick. We had the roast chicken and pork roast dinner. They were delicious and large portions. Would highly recommend :)

16 High St, Moreton-in-MarshGreat find in Moreton in Marsh right in the high street.Large array of hot and cold drinks and food. Friendly happy chatty staff pleasant and cheerful and smiling. My mother in law who is English and 88 years old said they were the best cheese scones that she has ever had. Would always drop in if ever passing again. Highly recommend.
Parking: Parking just being the high street 3 pounds fit 10 hours excellent value for money.

The Great Western Arms
Station Rd, Blockley, Moreton-in-MarshFirst of all, let me mention that the place is open on specific days of the week and hours, so at first it may be confusing and give the impression of being closed. However, it is worth visiting it, first of all, to feel the atmosphere of England, my first impression was surprising due to the fact that the place was full of both couples and families, as well as many elderly people. Everyone to eat well and have a nice time. I was happy to come back to the place because of the delicious food and the fact that the place is run by my compatriots - best regards :) But most importantly, the food was delicious, large portions, delicious and nicely presented. It's a pity that I didn't have time to try every item on the menu during my stay.
I also recommend local beers.
Additionally, the atmosphere in the place is so nice because of the dogs who like to come here with their owners.

Crown Hotel Blockley - Cotswold
High St, Blockley, Moreton-in-MarshSet in a lovely little village in the cotswolds the Crown hotel was an absolute treasure, just come back from 3 nights break . Very peaceful and relaxing break with a bit if exploring the local area. The hotel seems to be ran by a small but very competent team, very helpful and friendly service from all , we stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was fresh and very tasty. We ate in the bar the one night and the Crown burger was absolutely gorgeous, Sarah had fish and chips and the size of the portions was huge. This hotel is also dog friendly so if you are looking for a break away I would say check this hotel out I don't think you would be disappointed

The food choice is excellent, wide range of sandwiches etc, they cater well for GF if you need it, great coffee, fantastic service and affordable pricing. The portions are generous and everyone is super friendly. We will be stopping next time we are in the area.

Sweet Thoughts

The staff were amazing and were extremely helpful , they had a large ice cream selection along side their large selection of sweets. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a sweet treat

High St, Moreton-in-MarshA stay at the Redesdale Arm is always worth repeating and I have many times now.
Huge excellent choices at breakfast even kippers that my other-half enjoys.
Great location to visit the town shops, Art galleries and the local Arboretum, well worth a visit.
Had a great evening, eat in the bar restaurant and really enjoyed my roast chicken, liver and bacon yummy also the following night .
Room tidy and clean.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The Bell
High St, Moreton-in-MarshMy sister & I are so glad we stayed at The Bell Inn in mid September. We are 70-ish ladies so location & walkability are key. The Inn was easy walking distance from the direct train we took from Oxford. We were early for check in but were able to leave bags while we walked around a bit. When our room was ready our bags had already been taken to our room which was spacious, comfortable & charming with rustic beams but modern shower room. Included in the room rate was a filling made-to-order breakfast each day. We also had several other delicious meals. The TI office was very helpful in giving us info about getting from the Inn to catch local busses to Stow-in-the-Wold, Chipping Camden, Bourton on the Water & Stratford upon Avon (all of which I highly recommend visiting) for just £2 each way. On our final day, we explored Moreton-in-Marsh & took advantage of market day right outside our door. The entire staff was gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend The Bell Inn.

The Swan Inn
High St, Moreton-in-MarshThe pub/hotel is on the High Street, a few minutes walk to all the shops, restaurants and other pubs in Moreton-in-Marsh. We had a four-poster double room (no.3) on the first floor. Although quite compact, it had almost everything needed for our one-night stay. The bed was very comfortable, and a fan and oil heater were provided. The double-glazing was very efficient so the room was quiet even though it overlooked a busy road. The shower room was huge, with a powerful shower, lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a bathrobe. There was a kettle with tea etc and biscuits, but we couldn't work out how to use the Nespresso machine. There were enough sockets for our chargers. The breakfast choice was extensive and the food really excellent (best cheese omelette I have had in years; my husband's full veggie breakfast was also good). There is a small car park, although there is free parking on the high street anyway. The pub/hotel garden looked pretty, but it was raining, so we didn't try it.

Really friendly and flexible, offering us changes to the menu offering to cater to some fussy tastes. Many thanks, the food and service were amazing. You do get plenty of food, we took some back from our visit.
