Greggs
65 Newerne St, LydneyIt's a sandwich shop. One moan. The subs, sandwiches and rolls none come with mayo and no sachets of mayo available to apply to your own sandwich. Fresh with generous fillings, also try a pastry, de-lish. Every town should have a Greg's.

Saffron Balti
5a Forest Rd, LydneyVery happy with the quality food I had there tonight, chicken Tikka massala and lamb madrass with all the extras. 5 stars from me and I have a curry every week from our local.
I never usually leave a review but Saffron Balti is well worth the time to leave one.
Only 1 issue, the online menu needs updating.
Thank you for tonight's lovely food

The Daily Grind
Church Rd, LydneyGreat spacious cafe in Lydney, very close to train station. I was only there briefly so I didn’t order food, but it looked delicious from what I could see ?
The two staff members were very polite and friendly and constantly apologising for being understaffed (as we had to wait a while to get drinks), but we didn’t mind as we were a big group. I ordered Pistachio milkshake, it was a bit too sweet for me but I would love to try the food next time.
The atmosphere and decor of cafe is really nice and I would definitely go again if I was in the area ??
Wheelchair accessibility: Lot of space and also dining space outside. It’s lovely when the weather is nice ☀️

Nags Head Inn
Yorkley Slade, Yorkley, LydneyRecommended by the local Dean's Wood campsite with a caveat of it being 'rustic', we enjoyed a very tasty excellent value for money meal and drinks. Our dogs were welcome, and the Land Lady was lovely. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for all weather. With a small play area available for children.
Watch out for the local sheep wandering the roads and verges!
