The Forge Hammer and River Spice Indian
Forge Hammer Inn, Forge Row, LydbrookOrdered late afternoon on a Friday for an 8 o’clock pickup for 11 people, ready on time and v reasonable price, excellent Indian food, all v tasty and large portions. Also stopped at the bar for a pint of their locally brewed IPA which also really tasty. Overall an excellent pub with takeaway food.

The Wye Fry
The Wye Fry, Central Lydbrook, LydbrookA very good fish and chip shop in this village. Prices are cheap, certainly compared to our home town and portions are sizable.
The batter remained crisp to the end and coated good pieces of fish. The cod was better than the haddock on our visit.
Highly recommended.
