The staff are lovely and helpful! And the food...amazing!!!

What a nice surprise! A smiling and efficient team. But above all a delicious meal. We had the three-color tomato and bruschetta as a starter and then some seafood pasta. A treat. Sufficiently plentiful for two with a glass of wine and a bottle of water £58. We will come back

Belle's Kitchen

A lovely neighbourhood cafe! They did an amazing job hosting 15 of us for a family brunch. The food was excellent and varied, they were really helpful and flexible with our wanting to eat family-style, and everyone had a fantastic and relaxed time. The coffee is great too! Thanks so much for a perfect brunch!

The Old Spot

The best pub in the area by far, great beer selection and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Great mix of regulars and new visitors. Well worth a visit..

The Bar Bros

From the moment we met Rebecca her energy and enthusiasm were clear to see. She was so excited and had lots of fun wedding ideas to share with us, she was also onboard and happy to facilitate all our crazy ideas, especially in relation to TWO DIY bars, in addition to a main bar. On the day of our wedding Rebecca and the team were absolutely fabulous, they worked tirelessly and made sure we (and our guests) always had a drink in our hands. If you want a fun, friendly personalised experience then Bar Bros are the bar to have.

Dietary restrictions: Always very accommodating for dietary requirements, my family is very awkward with allergies and I never have to worry about taking them here.

Woodland House B&B

My husband, two sisters and I had the good fortune of staying at this wonderful B&B during our Cotswold Way vacation Sept 2024. Ray and Naomi were such welcoming, lovely gracious hosts. The place is spotless and has everything anyone would need. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. A pleasant walk into a darling town for a bite to eat. (We took Ray up on his suggestion of the Nepalese restaurant which also did not disappoint.) Ray and Naomi provided so much helpful information about the town, walking trails plus so much other wonderful varied conversation. A highlight of our two weeks in the UK. Thank you Ray and Naomi !! We talked about you for days ! Catherine, Steve, Anne & Christine ....hugs +9 seconds ; )

Bank Café

I had a wonderful experience at the bank café today! It’s always refreshing to be greeted by someone as polite and friendly as Izzy . Her warm and welcoming attitude must have made your visit even more enjoyable. Small gestures like hers truly make a big difference!

Spring Villa Sports Bar & Café

I visited for lunch with my sister and baby daughter , food was good and the two young girls on the bar were brilliant really friendly and helpful, offered us an alternative on Childs menu during to crisps being inappropriate for a toddler , couldn’t of done more for us , lovely girls ,great customer service and a good range on the menu , reasonable prices

Berkeley Arms

Brilliant pub, very welcoming and fun. The owners Graham and Hazel are lovely people and we absolutely love coming here. It's also dog friendly. The music scene is perfect as well!

The Dilraj

An absolutely faultless takeaway meal for four. Ordered by phone, was ready within 15-20mins, and everything was really delicious. Really good that they do a half portion for smaller appetites too. My veggie curry was so fresh and clearly made with fresh veg (unlike some other outlets). We all enjoyed it, thank you! ??

4th oct had a lovely meal on our 38th wedding anniversary ... steak cooked to perfection superb meal and not our first here and never disappointed... highly reccomended

Well-presented sandwiches and tuna melt. Excellent real cream Victoria sponge.
Came at end of lunchtime busy period so floor had some dropped food items.

Gravity Fish and Chips Dursley

Been to Gravity many times now, always very consistent.
The staff are friendly, the food is great.
Nice spot to just grab a coffee, or fill your belly!

The George Inn

A really great inn. I can't fault the food or ale. Whilst I only live 20 miles away from it now, I intend to stay for a night just because I can.

A fantastic news M&S food to go offer just opened in the BP petrol station today. The store looks fresh, clean and modern. There's sandwiches, fruit pots, pasta salads plus the usual confectionary and crisps. There is a Wild Bean Cafe that sells coffee, pastries and hot savouries all at very good prices. There is even a fantastic new seating area inside the petrol station to eat and drink plus sockets to charge your mobiles, both via a standard 3 pin plug or a USB. Friendly staff too. Got to be the best motorway petrol station I have seen!

How nice to have a local takeaway where the staff care and go that extra mile to make sure all there customers are happy. Lovely food hot and tasty, good size portions. Will be back

Leaf and Ground

Had a nice lunch at Leaf and Ground on a Tuesday. Hot food was served from midday, and came out quickly. The food was yummy, and you get a good portion. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. Free parking available so long as you're a customer, and there's lots of nice groceries and treats you can buy too.

Kings Garden

Very tasty, with good quality ingredients. There was a great choice of tofu dishes which had veg included. We really enjoyed our takeaway, best one we'd had in ages.Vegetarian options: Tofu, egg and vegetable dishes, marked as veggie on menu

Starbucks Coffee

Not too bad at all for a service station coffee shop. Tables were clean, staff efficient and the coffee and biscuits were tasty and not quite as expensive as other places.

China Chef

There was one review who said that this was the best Chinese in the area, so I decided to take them up on that.

My first impressions were not great unfortunately, I was unable to see if they were Mandarin or Cantonese speakers as they have employed a young boy to do their customer service. He also told me that there were no cutlery available which is a UK first for Chinese takeaways I have ate at so far.
However, due to the cash driven nature of the business, he advised me where their nearest cashpoint was which was helpful considering I am not from this area.

I ordered BBQ Pork Fried Rice and Salt and Pepper Chicken. I can understand why some previous reviewers have expressed that this was the best in the area.
The Salt and Pepper Chicken was well made, strong in taste and has a good balance of Chinese 5 spice however… this was let down by the excessive use of MSG. There was “too much” as I was left thirsty all night. Chefs do not need to have reliance on MSG to bring out the flavours of their dish. I unfortunately have to say they use too much compared to other establishments. Other than that, this is a good tasting dish that I will still recommend. The taste is what I expect from a good Chinese.

The BBQ Pork Fried Rice was not bad. This is the minimum standard I expect from Chinese takeaways. The rice was not too dry, the pork had some flavour but not enough. It could use longer marination. Ultimately, this was let down by the lack of pork quantity which might have sorted their weak char siu (BBQ pork) flavour. The rice could have been a little less dry but I think I can let them off considering the rural-ness of the area.

So far I have to say that China Chef is probably the best in this Bristol and Gloucestershire area. You might be able to find some better in or around Bristol but definitely in the Rural areas; I will say this one meets the Chinese food standard I expect when I order Chinese food. Overall good shop despite my criticism.

The Great British

We went in July. As Argentines we did not understand anything about this type of food, but the girls who run the place are wonderful and told us everything we needed. Delicious food and better service.

Dursley Kebab House

I dropped into Dursley unexpected last night I was running the cotswold way and quit just outside Dursley. I was directed to food sources and found this kebab house. Pizza, kebab and free cheese amd chips with a bottle of water. I loved this gesture and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to drop by again. Thanks a million for feeding and hydrating a very tired ultra runner ?

Really good pizzas made to order on site.Just phone or email your order through, or even call in and wait in the shop.If you place the order for collection it's usually ready in around 15 minutes, but it can take a little longer if its really busy.Orders can be delivered locally for a small fee, but can take up to an hour to arrive.There is also a menu on line that makes life easier if your not sure what you want.There are 2 sizes of gluten free pizzas also.

Excellent customer service - I ordered to this store on the app however went to the wrong store. I arrived 30 minutes late and the manager offered to remake my order so that it was fresh. Also very clean environment; satisfied and would recommend?
