The Bear Inn, Cirencester
12 Dyer St, CirencesterI am visiting from the US and I have to say, this was by far the best meal, drinks and dessert I have had in the last 9 years of traveling to the UK. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and delicious dining experience!! The roast chicken dinner was delightful and quite tasty, the espresso martini was top notch and the Affogato was the best desert I have had in my life. As a certified chef, I can appreciate good food, but this was way beyond my expectations. If in the area for whatever reason, please stop by and enjoy.

Pizza Express
28 Castle St, CirencesterThe food was lovely and the waitress that served us was very welcoming and friendly. We had not long finished eating and a different waiter came over and asked if we’d finished eating or if we were still nibbling / did we want to order anything else. We didn’t want to order anything else as we were full but I did want to sit and peacefully finish my wine. However the waiter then asked if we had any rewards and started the bill paying process! To be honest we felt very rushed and it wasn’t a nice end to what had been a really nice meal. The place was not even half full at the time. What a shame.

Hassle Free Weekends - Wedding & Event Catering
Notch Rd, CirencesterPolly and the team at Hassle Free Weekend were incredible.
Adele and I love Ottolenghi style dishes and Polly recreated some incredible dishes for our wedding.
They created sharing platters, catering for vegetarians and diary free alternatives.
Everyone has been raving about the food ever since the wedding and I couldn't recommend the Hassle Free Weekend any more.
I wish I took photos but the food went too quick lol

17 Black Bar and Restaurant with Nightclub hire
4 Castle St, CirencesterPopped in on the off-chance they where open late on a Monday with an open mind as have had some bad fish in other restaurants.. We where greeted and served buy james who we could only describe as eye candy... When the food came out promptly may we add it was a feast for the eyes and short of putting flippers on and heading out to sea I doubt you'll find better fresher fish. Who ever is behind the kitchen at a guess could only be a magician of the dark culinary arts. If you leave a bad review you clearly must be drunk or have no taste in the finer things in life. Well done guys.

Arlington, Bibury, CirencesterThis place was one of the best restaurants I have been to in the UK, and I have been to quite a few in different cities. The Golden Cross
20 Black Jack St, CirencesterWe had a really delicious Sunday Roast here - the presentation was excellent and everything had a really delicious flavour, so all enjoyed our meals very much!! The chef was very vigilant and attentive to dietary requirements too and we were made to feel welcome. The only thing I would say about our first experience here was that even though business seemed manageably steady (it wasn’t overly busy), the wait staff came across quite stressed - it’s possible they were short-staffed, which would’ve been understandable. All in all it was a great eating experience, so would highly recommend and go again for a fabulous roast!!

The Bakers Arms
Somerford Keynes, CirencesterThis cozy pub is a must-visit in the winter when the fireplace is crackling. While the indoor ambiance may feel less inviting during the summer, their spacious garden offers a delightful outdoor pizza experience. We enjoyed our meal, and though the service was a bit underwhelming, it was likely due to a new waitress learning the ropes. A leisurely walk from Lower Mill Estate, I'll definitely be returning here again in the colder months.

The Old Cafe
50 Cricklade St, CirencesterI visited with my cousin from the States for a proper fry up. I think we were the first customers. We were greeted warmly and sat down immediately. The whole place was sparkling clean. The owners were lovely and entertained my 7 month old twins while we ate. The English Breakfasts were perfect, especially the bacon. I appreciated the lack of tomato as I don't like them but always eat them anyway because I hate food waste. I've lived in Cirencester for nearly 3 years and this was my first visit, but it won't be my last.
Kid-friendliness: The owners, were very welcoming, delighted even, to have my babies in the restaurant.

Seafare Fish & Chips
12 Chesterton Ln, CirencesterAbsolutely delicious and superb service every time. If you are a Coeliac, they do an entirely Gluten Free Monday night on the first Monday of each month. Myself and my children are highly sensitive to even trace gluten and cross contamination and we have never had any problems at all, across a range of their food. My son is a very recently diagnosed Diabetic (diagnosed during a medical emergency the type of which is every parents nightmare) My children wanted to have Seafare GF fish and chips etc during his first week of diagnosis and they not only supplied the info regarding weights of his order, for insulin calculation purposes, they insisted that the order was on the house (My son had just returned from being critically ill in hospital) They are very kind, completely gluten free once a month, delicious and go the extra mile for their customers
