The service started off excellent and definitely praise the blonde lady who was attentive and friendly and took our orders, answered questions and brought our starters. The other lady as well was friendly.
BUT unfortunately went downhill when the young girl with blue hair who clearly didn't want to be there came - the plates just got put down wherever and then never cleared, we had to go up to the counter and try and get the girls attention away from her phone to ask about desserts/extra drinks even then we asked for a menu but plates never taken or order not followed up on. Until the other lady came back.

there is also a lot of space inside, there are also a few tables outside, the atmosphere of this place is really pleasant???
Kid-friendliness: Children will definitely find something good to eat, the place is quite large and there is a really friendly atmosphere :)
Wheelchair accessibility: The staff is friendly enough to help you if you have any problems, there are no steps or stairs so it should be easy for everyone to get there

The Queens Head
76-80 High St, Walton on the NazeA lovely homely atmosphere and the tables are not all crammed together. The seats are really comfortable and the restaurant area is clean and bright. I have allergies to lots of food, including gluten, but still had multiple options to chose from. The staff were lovely and happy to help, they were really nice about helping with my food issues instead of the usual eye rolls, jokes or rudeness. This was much appreciated. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. We found this little gem in May and have been back on every trip to Walton on the Naze since.

The Naze Cafe & Takeaway
134 Hall Ln, Walton on the NazeThis unassuming restaurant is an absolute gem! We were lucky enough to stumble across this place when I saw that their themed nights were selling out. We went with family for tapas. Everyone was really suited with a range of a dozen dishes or so. It was very reasonably priced with no corkage for wines we brought. After our family experience we booked again and returned as a couple for their paella which I'm afraid we devoured in an obscenely quick time. This place is, unsurprisingly, also popular with locals. I envy them!

15-21 Old Pier St, Walton on the NazeJust had amazing cod and chips takeaway. Fish perfect, fresh and not oily. Chips spot on and not burnt as some previous reviews. Service friendly and quick. Curry sauce is the best.

There was infact so much food therewas food left over for lunch the next day.Would highly recommend this establishment, certainly one of the best kebabs we've had in a long while

Family Pizza Walton
8 Old Pier St, Walton on the NazePerfect pizzas every single time. Any size pizza for colle is all the same price, can't go wrong for feeding the family.
Everything is made fresh, we actually prefer this to pizza hut, papa johns or dominos.
We've never been disappointed with food from Family pizza!

Beach House Bar & Grill
131 High St, Walton on the NazeVery very quiet today which is unusual.
The more expensive of the fish and chip shops but you do get your food on a plate. I had a childs portions of fish and chips as trying to be good! It came in a basket and my first thought was that parents always cut up food for their kids and thats hard with a basket. Nonetheless delicious fish, crispy but not greasy.
The ice cream selection is good.
Open all year round unlike their neighbours.

Yates Restaurant, 24a High St, Walton on the NazeOrder here often and have to say they actually cook the food properly unlike some other places with their anemic chips. QF have the crispiest chips, lovely portions, always tasty ? never had a bad thing from there

12 Old Pier St, Walton on the NazeI thought the quality of the chicken fillets I had was really good, had a lot more flavour than KFC and I saw them being made in front of me fresh. Would happily go again, can't comment on delivery times as in other reviews as I went to collect ?
