Bridge Rd, Moreton, OngarWe visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon and the pub was almost empty, but the bar staff were welcoming a friendly.
Well poured pints of Guinness and a nice, quiet drink.
The only downside was the toilets, the ladies were dirty in both cubicles and the whole bathroom decor is a bit grotty and dated - doesn't match well with the rest of the pub, which is lovely.

The Dog & Pickle, Church Rd, Moreton, OngarWe love the dog and pickle. We went for thier legendary roast and left full to the brim. They get booked up well in advance and you understand why when you taste thier food.
Im looking forward to the festive period where its decorated to perfection
