The Ship
The Ship Walton Rd, Kirby le Soken, Frinton-on-Sea4 of us went for Sunday lunch. The food was superb, tender and tasty meat, plenty of veg. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. We had a bit of a long wait for service because it was very full in the bar, which also meant that it was quite noisy. Overall though an enjoyable lunch.

Mossla
114 Thorpe Rd, Kirby Cross, Frinton-on-SeaFood was absolutely amazing!! 10/10
Service was very slow. We were in there for 2hours and they seemed to prioritise takeaway orders over dine in. Asked for some glasses of water and they gave them to the wrong table before eventually getting us some.
But food was amazing ?

Fourteen
14A Connaught Ave, Frinton-on-SeaThis was a very relaxing, cool shady haven on a hot summer's day at Frinton on Sea. Food only got 4 stars because the menu wasn't that extensive but everything there is individual and lovely from the low sofas and painted cups and saucers to the beautifully bottled soft drinks. Lovely!

The Lock & Barrel
28 Connaught Ave, Frinton-on-SeaSo, on a lazy Friday afternoon, with most of the coffee shops having closed for business for the day, we needed a place to get something to eat and drink.
Although none of the family go to pubs that often, the Lock and Barrel was at least open and willing to provide us with some food.
Being mid-afternoon, unsurprisingly, it wasn't very busy in there, but the staff were friendly, and we ordered 4 meals with drinks and sat with our dog in the open area at the back of the pub.
The cost of everything was very reasonable, averaging about £15 per head, and the food arrived in a timely fashion and was very good.
This is at least the third time we've visited this pub over the last year or so and would highly recommend it.
