Parlour Cafe
Creeksea Place Farm, Ferry Rd, Burnham-on-CrouchGreat place! We are becoming regulars now with our 2 dogs plus 1 when we look after our daughters dog!
Always on the look out for home made cakes but favour the sausage sandwich under pressure from dogs though!
Good stopping point after walking our dogs.
Good prices and friendly young staff, though most people are young to us these days!

The Queens Head
26 Providence, Burnham-on-CrouchLovely little pub with friendly staff and locals. Great to find a pub with a pool table and good quality cues. Drinks are a good price and there is a nice outside area to sit in the sun. Only food served is crisps, nuts or homemade pork pies.

The Victoria Inn
Belvedere Rd, Burnham-on-CrouchA no frills type of pub but just had to post to say how pleasant the staff were and that the Sunday roast we had yesterday was superb. I reckon the roasties were some of the best I'd ever had.

Dhan Shiri
16 Maldon Rd, Ostend, Burnham-on-CrouchAmazing food at a great, great price. The portion sizes are on the generous size, onion bnaji's are to die for. The free fresh salad/onions, two dips and poppadoms a a really nice touch. Where others restaurants have put prices up and cut back on portion sizes, and the complimentries they give, Dhan Shiri have carried it on. The service on phone is both polite and efficient, as is the delivery. We're new customers recently switch from another Burnham restaurant/takeaway, and we won't be going back.

The Kitchen-Burnham
44 Station Rd, Burnham-on-CrouchReally impressed! The dishes are rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and really give off that authentic Indian vibe. The butter chicken, in particular, was creamy and full of flavor. Everything had the right amount of spices to make every bite enjoyable. Compliments to the chefs. Already excited to go back soon!

Burnham Seafood and Oyster Bar
High St, Burnham-on-CrouchI have lived in the surrounding area of this seafood bar, for many years. Amazingly, I have never been to Burnham on Crouch on the days that they operate. Well, yesterday I was, and am so glad to have found them! The proprietor, John Strowlger, was a lovely man. Helpful, genuine and obviously knew his trade. I bought a variety of seafood, including crab, mussels and whelks. All of it was top notch, fresh and beautiful. As a result of yesterday’s visit, my wife and I will change our Burnham visits to include Friday’s. A visit to John’s Seafood & Oyster Bar will be a regular pit stop for us now! Thanks for the welcome, John and thanks for the perfect delights from our sea. It was all first class sea fare. Steve Haward

The Polash
169 Station Rd, Burnham-on-CrouchFood was very good, and they seated 5 of us at short notice when Curry Cottage could not seat us even though we had booked one week prior. They tried to seat us in an area not normally used, but when we sat there, a strong drain smell was so bad we had to move away from it.

The Star Inn
29-31 High St, Burnham-on-CrouchIt looked popular and the menu was reasonably priced, so we stopped for lunch. It was very nice, the food was good and there was a nice selection of meals. They have omitted the usual choice of Burgers from the menu and included a few fish dishes and Ploughman's lunches instead, it made a nice change.
I think all the ales were Green King, so I had their summer pale ale which was decent and well kept. We ordered a couple of Ploughmans Lunches, a cheese and a ham version, plus a basket of chips it fed our family ok for lunch. The Ploughman's was good, and came with some nice pickles, salads and coleslaw, the French bread was very tasty, I could have done with twice as much though.
It's a nice open pub, with a large outside seating area immediately on to the main waterside promenade. In summer the doors are all open, so the place is nice and bright. There is a tiny section of bar that is kept as 'No Children', and all the old local boys were sitting around in there. Can't blame them, us day trippers must be a noisy distraction all Summer long. There was ample seating elsewhere for families, plus a big side room.

Jolly Fryer
43 High St, Burnham-on-CrouchWe’ve always had great food from the Jolly Fryer, and tonight was no exception. It’s a popular place, so often busy but the food is freshly cooked and you don’t wait too long. Tasty and fresh food, and the staff are well organised in ensuring everyone has their order. Thanks again!

Domino's Pizza -Burnham on Crouch
158 Station Road, Burnham-on-CrouchI ordered my food online. Very straight forward. Was then offered a voucher to get £15 off. Amazing. I had to go and pick up my food. Shame no delivery service offered. Food was ready when I arrived. I did not receive the correct dips that I selected. But not a problem.

Ruam Thai Restaurant
20A High St, Burnham-on-CrouchMy friend and I visited your restaurant on the 11th March 2023 and would like to say the food was very tasty and very fresh so we decided to have a bottle off Prosecco priced at £30 when we started it we realized it was tesco finest this was not stated on your menu and we was very shocked and disappointed that your mark up equated to £21-50 on top off a bottle off tesco finest Prosecco sold at tesco for £8-50 which in the end spoilt the whole experience very disappointed I realize you have to have a profit but £21-50 is a bit hard to swallow anyway I look forward to your reply explaining your pricing policy

BBQ King
128 Station Rd, Burnham-on-CrouchBeing living in the town for 5 years, in the past used the other main kebab restaurant, not fair to mention names, but always being slightly disappointed with size of dishes of late, had been really good when we first landed in Burnham.
