3 Charter Way, BraintreeA last minute decision to try a different venue for dining, Hasturk in Braintree, and was not disappointed, from being greeted by Adam, the service through was fantastic, attentive but not overwhelming, a bustling atmosphere, amazing food options and portions were huge, hot, flavour fabulous and fresh (we had dinner for tomorrow too), and a 100% experience was their homemade salsa, so good we asked to take some home and was given this ok the house. Several birthdays taking place this everyone singing and clapping which added to a great evening, what an unexpected great dining experience, and good value too, thank you Adam and the team, you were fab-u-Lous, ?

Sides are great and delivery is always fast and friendly my only gripe is still the lack of cheese on the pizzas, if i can see the base and sauce there is not enough! The food and drinks I ordered were ready very quickly, and hot/cold as required.
Very substantial burgers, wrapped in foil to ensure they were hot. The lattice fries make a nice change from chips or fries.
Ordering was a very simple process, using the screens. It was great to be able to customise every element of the food order, it keeps everyone in the family happy!
I was given the wrong dip initially, but it was changed immediately with an apology and no fuss. The ketchup is not your usual watery stuff, thick and tomatoey as it should be.
The hot chocolate I ordered was just the right temperature and tasted great.
I just wish there was one nearer home!
I'll be back next time we're passing.

My son loves the Mini american, whereas my wife and I enjoy the vegetarian breakfasts. Good food for a good price. There's no better breakfast in braintree!

Staff were extremely helpful as we were a conference group who booked there for afterwards. The waiters were well informed and friendly. The atmosphere was perfect. Big fan of Il Salice, and alwsys enjoy visiting their restaurant. Glad to say the takeaway was very enjoyable and cooked to the same standard. Desert was a work of art in a takeaway tray, so just dived in.
Can't wait for an end to covid restrictions and to get back into the restaurant.

104 High Garrett, BraintreeWe visited for the first time today after reading good reviews. They squeezed us in without a booking and we got a table. The service was great and the food was delicious. We didn't stay too long because we knew they had bookings to honour. The setting is intimate and quite limited, despite being a large looking building from the outside. I'd definitely visit again maybe midweek as the vibe inside was a little odd today. Almost as though we had entered a private function. Cannot fault the staff though, very friendly.

The atmosphere was excellent, food exceptional and the price was very reasonable. To top it all off the staff were warn and friendly. Look forward to coming back. Booked a table and glad we did as it was busy for a Friday night. Cocktails were great. Felt alittle rushed after 1hr and 10mins probably wanted the table. Seating outside and in. Parking around the town. Disabled parking directly outside.

82 Manor St, BraintreeSecond time ordering and really impressed. Too many Indian takeaways are oily and with little discernable difference between the curries. Miah's is very fresh tastings and varied and you can actually taste the quality of the meat. Lamb balti jalfrezi is a particular favourite in our house (lovely big juicy and tender pieces of lamb, no chewy or gristly bits like in some takeaways).

9 Market Pl, Braintree????? WINNERS in the Black Notley Cubs Chip Shop Challenge. ??Trying chips from every shop in town, the Cubs and Beavers voted Cyprus Fish Bar as the clear winner. My son won't eat chips from anywhere else in town, so since then we can confirm that the place serves very good fish and chips. My cod has always been superb and the chips deserving of their winning status.The staff are always friendly and welcoming, it is well worth a try.

272 Coggeshall Road, BraintreeWe always have the Veggie Sizzler from this branch, and I cannot stress this enough… the pizza is awesome every… damn…time! Moreover, the staff are friendly and courteous, despite their horrific working conditions (it is Braintree, duh).
We call on the phone and order, and collect in person, natch. This is the best way to engage with Pizza Hut. Forget the skibidi apps and delivery charges.
…I was a bit puzzled by the one star reviews but then after reading them, I realised most of them were from dimwits who used delivery apps and then blamed the restaurant for their problems. Wake up, sheeple!

42 Church St, Bocking, BraintreeHere for a Sunday roast with family. Very reasonably priced. Food was lovely and hot. Very tender roast beef and a generous serving despite that being the 'small' size.
The Retreat is a very old building that winds itself around the incline it is set on. Staff were very friendly. We will return.

1 The St, Rayne, BraintreeWe visited the Swan Public House & Restaurant on Sunday 01/09/24 this was our first time visiting. This pub has a friendly cosy vibe. We were shown to the restaurant area but unfortunately left for quite a while to the point we weren't sure if we had to go to the bar to order or if they waited on us at the table, we popped down to the bar and a lovely lady said she would come to us at the table which she did do straight away (they were extremely busy so maybe that's why we had to wait longer than maybe you normally would?). The lady that took our orders was extremely pleasant and polite and very helpful when we were ordering certain dishes ie: roast options and steak dishes. The food was delivered in good time & was presented well, it was absolutely delicious & cooked to perfection, you get served a very good portion of food not like some places that scrimp on portions now days. I would say excellent value for money. We all left the table very satisfied. I have given an overall scoring of 4* purely due to I feel the restaurant could do with a little sprucing up and in the garden area there were tables that hadn't been cleared even though staff were delivery food out to the tables, but unfortanley they never cleared any tables on their return to the bar, this is one of my bug bares you should not be returning empty handed if there are tables to be cleared! it also makes a lovely area look unwelcoming to those seated already and to prepective customers.This score has no reflection of the service and great food that's definitely a 5* from all of us. We will definatly be returning to The Public House & Returaurant in Ryane soon.

114 London Rd, BraintreePopped in the King William IV Pub for a quick drink and received a warm welcome from lady behind thd bar and I assume couple of locals.Has three real ales on so I had the mild, nicely kept pint.Beers was not deal.Small court yard to side of pub, only thing let them down was dirty ash trays on most table.Good size car park to the side.

The Vine Bardfield
Vine St, Great Bardfield, BraintreeCustomer service was fantastic, the Food was great, our party of four all had burgers, but different ones and everyone agreed the burgers were very good. The atmosphere when we first got there (18:30) was a little quiet at the back of the pub, but still pleasant, by 19:00 the place was packed and buzzing. I would highly recommend to anyone and hope to return soon.

Big fan of Il Salice, and alwsys enjoy visiting their restaurant. Glad to say the takeaway was very enjoyable and cooked to the same standard. Desert was a work of art in a takeaway tray, so just dived in.
Can't wait for an end to covid restrictions and to get back into the restaurant.

Lion House, 22 Coggeshall Rd, BraintreeGreat fish and chips takeaway and restaurant just outside Braintree centre. We sat in and the restaurant was simple but charming, traditional, and spotlessly clean. I always think it's a sign of a good chippy when you have plenty of elderly couples dining in. The food was very good with decent portions at a reasonable price. Fish batter was crisp, but not thick, and the chips were up there with the best. They also had cream soda which is a bonus, and a selection of wines which was surprising but welcomed. Service was decent. Highly recommend.

Winners Tearooms
The Green, Finchingfield, BraintreeCame for a mid morning breakfast and was everything I could’ve wanted, brilliant variety but because I had a heavy night the night before I opted for the sausage and egg bap. The bap delivered my needs for a hangover cure and the satisfaction of a delicious breakfast. Most definitely will visit again.

104 High Garrett, BraintreeWe visited for the first time today after reading good reviews. They squeezed us in without a booking and we got a table. The service was great and the food was delicious. We didn't stay too long because we knew they had bookings to honour. The setting is intimate and quite limited, despite being a large looking building from the outside. I'd definitely visit again maybe midweek as the vibe inside was a little odd today. Almost as though we had entered a private function. Cannot fault the staff though, very friendly.

21 The St, Rayne, BraintreeVisited here to see a great local band City Sounds and although this was our 1st visit here it definitely will not be the last. It's situated on the main road so access is very easy and simple to find. It looks tiny from the outside but has a real 'TRdis' feel about it. The place was quite busy but a space was opened up at the bar and we were greeted warmly by the bar staff and ordered our drinks. The prices were quite reasonable with a pint and a short coming in at just under £8.The atmosphere was pleasant and we could see it was a friendly local pub with a happy vibe. Although we had not eaten there the menu for bar meals seemed to be the nice usual favourites at very reasonable prices.Overall it was a positive experience from start to finish and can very much give a solid 5 stars to them, well done all round team.

2 East St, BraintreeProper little boozer with so many friendly and welcoming people.
Staff are always lovely and chatty. They have so many different themed nights from bingo to live bands.
It's clean and alot of pride has been taken in making the venue look inviting.
