The King's Head

Had a lovely meal at the King’s Head Billericay. The staff were super accommodating; we were a large group all with babies, buggies etc and they provided us with the perfect area with lots of space. Food was lovely and staff top notch, especially Kayleigh who served us, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

Dukes Head Billericay

North Wing Restaurant @ Downham Hall

We brought my mum & our daughter for dinner on Saturday night 1/6/24. We had a lovely time. The setting is so pretty looking out over the countryside, the cocktails & food were delicious and the waiting staff, especially Leanne, really looked after us. Highly recommend a visit

Inn on the Green

Went to the Inn on the Green on a Wednesday evening with a group of friends for quiz night. We all had the burger and a beer/soft drink deal and all agreed the burgers one great. One of the guys even said it was the best burger he’d eaten in a while, in front of his wife, who said they'd had homemade ones recently, oops. We also had a nice bottle of white wine, which I enjoyed drinking with my chicken burger. Anyway we went for there for the quiz, I was quietly confident we would do well as I had won two weeks in a row with three of my friends. However we only managed to come second to last, due to a reckless answer in the wipe out round. Never mind it’s the taking part that counts, and spending some quality time with friends in a lovely local refurbished pub. Quiz guy was very good, kept the questions going and made sure nobody was on their phone. I would mention his name but I've forgotten it, sorry. Anyway, hoping to go back with my original (winning) group of friends again this week. So if anyone is up to the challenge, grab a mate or a few and come and join us. Quiz starts around 8pm but we got there about 7pm to get some food first. One of us even ordered via an app, from the comfort of their chair, while the rest of us went to the bar. Staff were all friendly and helpful, so I’m happy to do a review for them, just hope we can still get a table if it gets busy.

Beauvoir Arms

We've been here on numerous occasions both as a couple and with our kids and grandchildren. The staff have always been very efficient and attentive to detail. We will be coming back again

Kid-friendliness: Kids are made very welcome. There is a nice size secure garden but the equipment needs updating

The Bakers Arms

We recently had a delightful lunch to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday, surrounded by cherished friends and family. Joining us were my oldest school friend, her lovely daughter, and both our mums. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and laughter as we reminisced about old times and created new memories.

The restaurant provided a cozy and inviting ambiance, perfect for our special celebration. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

Us had the Caesar salad, which was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of dressing, the pork and cider pie was a hearty delight, with tender meat and a rich, flavorful gravy that complemented the crust beautifully. The cheese and red onion jacket potato was a comforting choice, with the creamy cheese and sweet onion melding together wonderfully (its a firm favourite!).

Each dish was perfectly prepared and added to the joy of our gathering. The presentation was lovely, and the portions were generous, ensuring that everyone left satisfied.

Overall, it was a memorable day, made even more special by the presence of lifelong friends. Celebrating such a significant milestone with those who have been part of our journey for so long was truly heartwarming. The restaurant provided the perfect setting for this joyous occasion, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Pizza Hut Delivery

Had an amazing order from pizzahut billericay, it was a suuupppper experience. Great customer service and the food was so good. now there is new management it is so much better.

Billericay Bagel Company

Great bagels for a decent price.Bagels themselves are good quality and filled to the brim! Prices are reasonable but I couldn't afford to make a habit of visiting for lunch.Staff are very friendly and happy to give suggestions. Very quick service with appropriate bags and napkins.Not quite brick lane quality but still a great bagel with plenty of options. I'd definitely recommend for a quick lunch!

Queens Park Fish Bar

Normally this place would get a 5 star, always been very impressed and travelled from another town to use but my last visit was very disappointing and nowhere near the high standard set with under cooked chips and over cooked fish.
I really hope this was a one off as its not a cheap family meal these days.
