Vani provided great service. Called when my wings were out of stock and offered a different option. I decided to get a refund on the out of stock items instead. Food was ready on time.

Pizza Express

We went for dinner and had our dog with us so we sat outside in the sunshine. Our server Julie was amazing from start to finish. Super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. She brought our dog some water and a little treat of chicken which was such a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend! Julie made our experience absolutely lovely.

Coco Cafe Basildon

It's absolutely amazing!!
The Best caffee around. The quality of the food is next to nothing. So fresh and so nicely cooked, very delicious.
I will be coming back as this is now my favourite.
Grilled chicken salad is amazing. My favourite dish.

Beehive Basildon

Good drinks, has a fun quiz night on Thursday and good sports shows. The crowd that arrives is pretty calm, and it's good place to relax. Recommend for chill drinks but one issue is it can be a bit cramped sometimes or some prices for drinks can be a tad iffy

Harvester - The Honey Pot

Had the most amazing experience today. I don’t always come out to eat at a restaurant but harvester will definitely be a place I will be returning too. I had a lovely steak and also tried some ribs which were amazing. I cannot fault the table service I received from the lovely server named Stacey. She was very accommodating and she was always polite and made my family feel very comfortable. Free salad with the meal which I defiantly couldn’t turn down :) all round brilliant :)

Harvester Five Bells Vange Basildon

Lovely quant little place.

We went for a late lunch, shown to a booth, the waitress took our order, we went for our salad, which was all freshly renewed, lots of sauce toppings to choose from, the only criticism was that the rolls were a little dry and hard, but apart from that, everything was fantastic, our meals arrived, they were plentiful, piping hot and soooo delicious, we haven’t been to a harvester, for a few years, and to be fair, we had a really great time, we will definitely, be back again.

Tav meze grill

Food was absolutely stunning. The meat of lamb chops and shish was just so soft it melted in your mouth. Fresh hot bread, fresh salad - stunning. The only thing I would say is the rice portion could be a bit more generous. Overall amazing.

TGI Fridays

We had Charlotte as a server, lovely girl and very friendly, she checked in to make sure we were okay with food and was always ready if our drinks were low! Fantastic server!

Toby Carvery

The toby at festival leisure is clean and tidy, well presented both inside and out . The staff where welcoming and friendly. We didn't wait to long as we was bit early and sat in small bar area with our drinks. The waitress was nice. The only things that let toby down for me and my husband where,
The meat was carved too thinly and small portion, the stuffing was dry and no mini dessert and coffee offer on menu.

Parking: There was plenty off spaces both in the toby parking lot and in the festival leisure complex also which is just across the road from toby .

The Veil restaurant & Bar

I was hooked on their grilled fish(with large portions of yam and plantain) till I tasted their asun. Chai. If u need to be properly introduced to asun, try veil restaurant. Whoever is the chef there is very very good

Basil Spice Indian Restaurant, Bar

The food was excellent, one of the best Indian meals we have had. The service was also excellent, very attentive and quick. It is a very clean restaurant, spacious and relaxing. We also found the background music very pleasant. Highly recommended. The staff are brilliant, we have been back many times now and the service is always excellent.

One of the nicest takeaways I have had in the area for a long time. Burger and wings were delicious. Will definitely be buying again and would recommend to anyone.

Cannot fault the food, reasonably priced, as for the staff that serve you, they're rude as they throw your food on the counter and move onto the next customer without a thank you. Ask for battered sausage got normal on 2 separate occasions, got home realised it was too late! If the servers had better attitudes and smiled it would make this chippy 1st class all round, but until that happens many people say customer service is shocking

The Quays

Visited several times over the past year and is our go to for a meal out. Food never disappoints and there's a big range to suit everyone, always been able to get a table, friendly staff and kept clean
There's only been one time we've had to wait a while to order at the bar but it was a busy night with only 1 member of staff serving so it's understandable and she handled it very well

OMG Desserts Basildon

Absolutely LOVE this place. I'm a regular, don't have much money ever which is why I like that it's fairly cheap. I always get a biscoff n white chocolate donut, they never fail to give the perfect amount of topping, n the drinks are just as divine. Every sip like heaven. The staff are so lovely too, even when it's busy they're so polite. N the atmosphere, I like the dark setting, it's much better than something bright n eye straining. Seats are comfy n sometimes I just eat in. The music is the perfect volume. Overall it's a 10/10 n the only improvement I can think of is hiring me.

Sushi and Bento Basildon

I recently visited Sushi and Bento House in Basildon and had an amazing experience. The fresh sushi was absolutely delicious, with each piece crafted to perfection. The hot seafood ramen soup was equally impressive, bursting with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. The combination of high-quality food and excellent service made for a memorable dining experience. Kingswood Kebab & Cafe

Highly recommended. 1st time tonight that I have eaten from here and I must say that my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. We both ordered a large kebab and chips to share. The pitta bread was cooked properly on the grill, almost charred and crispy in places which gave great texture. The meat is flavoursome and the salad was extremely fresh and lovely presented, we ask for our sauce and salad to be separate which was accomodated and the fries were crispy. Delivery was very prompt. All that I mentioned are the basics of a enjoyable kebab yet so many places in Basildon fail to achieve. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Pizza Hut

Food was delicious, hot, portion sizes were spot on and had decent amount of toppings although more base sauce would be nice. Staff were amazing and really couldn't be faulted.

MIRCHI

Ordered the double cheese smash burger and Cajun fries, the burger was the best burger I’ve ever eaten, fries were great, would totally recommend Mirchi, so much to choose on menu, great prices, customer service great, outstanding food. Highly recommend

Very polite staff, food is always perfectly cooked, portions are great.

Vegetarian options: I prefer vegetarian and Indian food has a very wide range that is not boring

Really lovely cafe, food is fine, as is the price, I asked for a kids meal, as I can't eat a full meal, due to my gallbladder issue, and there was no issue, with them, saying yes, as most cafes won't do this, , so full marks, will be back againParking: Okb

Papa John's Pizza

Best pizza in the UK without a doubt, the deals are fantastic and the flavour is just a class above all the others. The service is fantastic and I have never been let down by them in 4 years of ordering from them, they have also never got my order wrong either so bravo.I went to collect a pizza last week instead of ordering as it was very late and they were near closing, despite it being so close to closing the guys there took the order with a smile and made me like always a great quality pizza which really helped me after a very bad and long day. Thank you to the staff at Papa John's Basildon.

Zara Indian Takeaway

Ordered a takeaway, I am a visitor to Laindon & was extremely impressed with the service, the quality & taste of the food & the portion size. It was excellent & will definitely use again 5*

KFC Basildon

It's quite often hit and miss at KFC but i have to say, the current staff at this restaurant are amazing. The dining area is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food was spot on.

Cosmos takeaway

Mixed grill - superb. Plenty of flavour, full of meat with chips, salad and pittasGreat value for money, easily enough for 4 people - would recommend and will be back soon

We have never had an issue with this location is always an alternative active visit if any other locations are closed.

Service has always been good and offers some very welcoming floor staff to the restaurant

Car park is a tad on the small, but never fear, just a short pop over the Mimi roundabout and you have all the parking space you would need.

KFC

Got a deal online but couldn’t access the internet on my phone and the nice lady, cashier Karen P was helping me to get back online than came the manager very unprofessional with an attitude rudely told Karen off for helping us which I find very annoying, the fact that the place was not even busy and the only meal was my one I’ve ordered. I know dealing with food and customers are not easy but as well the good staff are very important and it a shame when you disregard and disrespect a grownup woman just for doing her job was out of order but in all the food was good

Adams Fish Bar

The ribs from this chip shop are the best in Essex. Yes I've tried them all and these guys win hands down. Always served with a smile and even when it is busy the staff are superbly efficient.

Googled ‘Chinese’ in the area, found them. Went and ordered Egg fried rice, Chicken chowmane, sweet & sour chicken. Nice looking place. Friendly staff. Food was actually really nice. Chicken taste like chicken, cooked perfectly, good amount of sauces. Really enjoyable. Fair price too. Defo eat there again.

Not a cosy costa, lots of better ones close by if you want to work or chill with a book. Heavy traffic but tye staff manage it well and service is fast. I had a little baby with me and they brought my order to my table which was very kind.

Using more and more, cannot fault the quality of the food, chow mein ( in my opinion) used to have a funny taste but now tastes A1, best curry sauce around and the 'chicken balls' are suburb (even though they are flat) you get loads of them, enough for 2.Do I recommend, definitely a yes and delivery is usually within half hour.Negative, no Chinese Calendar for my old mum ??

The Plaice to Go

Always good service. The fish and chips can not be beaten, absolutely delicious. The gherkin was missing from our order, then a few minutes later some very kind gentleman delivered two. Just can not fault them. Thank you.
