Value for money.Food we ordered was really lovely but two of the pasta dishes were slightly on the tepid side. Our sides had been forgotten, I think, but once we questioned they were quick to rectify. What our group of 4 all found a little lacking was attentive service that you'd expect in a busy restaurant, serving really great food. No one checked in with us. We had to ask to order more drinks and plates were taken whilst one of our diners was still eating. Just a bit odd - maybe they had team members unexpectedly off but something for them to certainly consider.

Best of Brighton Cottages, Nevill Rd, Brighton, Brighton and Hove, BrightonThis small Bistro are normally closed on a Monday Evening but agreed to accommodate a group of 11 of us for 8 pm. At 6 pm I phoned to increase the party to 18.In spite of the short notice the service and food quality were both excellent from this hard working chef and his partner..The venue is central to the village and the decor whilst shabby/chic is very interesting. The menu choices are varied and and there is something for everyone's choice. The prices are reasonable and the only slight downside(which i wasn't told when booking) it that they only accept cash or cheques, this mean't several rushing to the nearest A.T.M machine .All in all a delightful evening, and we recommend this Bistro with confidence.

30 High St, Brighton, Brighton and Hove, BrightonFantastic meal at a fantastic restaurant. The service was attentive and nothing was any trouble. The food was great, as always- try the Thai fish cakes which are fabulous. Always made to feel welcome, as if we are family by the staff. An authentic Thai experience, which I would recommend to anyone.
