The Railway Inn, 2 Station Road, Brighton and Hove, BrightonI had never been to portslade before but found myself there with an hour to kill. so wandered up the hill and once I had passed all the cafes and takeaways I found this beautiful traditional looking pub and thought it would be rude to not pop in . I didn’t regret it. Lovely cosy atmosphere as soon as I walked in. Food smelled amazing . Warm welcome at bar and possibly the best pint of Guinness I’ve had in years . Just wish I had more time to try the food . If I’m ever back in portslade I will make a point of going back .

Madeira Cafe' and Restaurant
28 Boundary Rd, Portslade, Brighton and Hove, BrightonBrill food lovely service and highly recommend this little place, if I had one fault it would be that the waitress kept coming to table asking if we needed anything else while we were still eating our meal and had full glasses, a little to keen as was in conversation myself, but don't let this stop you trying this lovely place

Couple weeks ago I fall outside the subway and the two girls were very kind they gave me a chair to sit on and asked if I was okay Thank you Keep up the good work
Wheelchair accessibility: I am disabled and I have a mobility walker and it easy to move around in the shop and easy to get in and out

Valley Wok
104 Valley Rd, Brighton and Hove, BrightonI have been ordering from Valley Wok for years and years, it’s my local chippy and I love it! no other place compares. I am a loyal customer for sure. The chips are always spot on and fresh, so is the fish and they hands down have the best curry sauce! I occasionally like ordering their chow mein, which is also delicious! can’t beat Valley Wok!
