Ended up here after a long walk and was left feeling lovely after good simple food done well (had the sausages n mash), good pint of proper ale from clean pipes and really nice servers who clearly genuinely cared about my experience. Atmosphere was nice too, seems to be a bit of a community pub with lots of laughter and friendliness, rather than groups keeping themselves to themselves.

Went there for the second time this year with friends and food and service were amazing both times. The quality of the food is exceptional and has that lovely home-made appearance and taste. Looking forward to a return visit.
