I have stayed in most of the the Travelodges in the south of England, but this is by a long way the best. It's always clean and tidy, it's quiet - you can actually leave your windows open at night and still get an uninterrupted night's sleep, and the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have come across, not only in Travelodge, but in any other competing motel chain.
