7 High St, HailshamWe had an absolutely delicious meal here tonight with the family! The pasta was to die for, everyone enjoyed every single thing we had. The service was fantastic, the girls were so lovely! It was super busy and they did an amazing job ? Such a great atmosphere here, has to be one of the best I’ve experienced! Already planning to come back with my friend next week!

80 High St, HailshamMe and My husband enjoyed our Anniversary dinner last night. The steak we had was cooked beautifully. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back for a Friday night steak night and maybe a cheeky roast dinner on a Sunday Xx

The owner was extremely pleasant and all staff were attentive and friendly.
Food was excellent and very traditional Italian style pizza.
Prices were very reasonable. Recommend visiting.

The food is cooked to order so you may have to wait a little while but you won't get anything that's been sitting under a heat lamp for half the evening. The burgers are the best around especially the willow stack and willow chicken stack

The food was absolutely delicious & the portion sizes were generous.
We were a party of 4 adults including one in a wheelchair & accessibility was no problem.
Quite frankly I think the food is better than our local Indian restaurant.

Vicarage Field, 28 Vicarage Ln, HailshamAlways positive experience at Hays cafe, starting with the lovely and helpful staff always doing the best they can , the food it's tasty and fresh and the portions are huge, they got decent prices but like I said 10 stars for the hard working staff there, even they are very busy most of the time.

The chicken was beautifully cooked and the sauce amazing so much of it :) price was great delivery swift and food nice and hot when arrived!! Onion bhaji were huge and exceptionally tasty definitely recommend

A267 Hellingly, A22, HailshamFriendly staff and drinks were made quickly despite it being busy! There are plenty of seats available, free Wi-Fi and plug sockets. Toilets are available as well. It looks much better now with the refurbishment. The car park has been resurfaced which is great, it was full of potholes before.
Only negative is it can get a little noisy inside if busy, must be the open plan layout.

HailshamWent for the Sunday carvery which was spot on, great selection, all the foods topped up regularly, also had dessert which is quite expensive however when you see it and taste it you realise why it's not your usual bought in desset from a restaurant, it's quality, home made proper dessert, definitely worth the price wanted

34 High St, HailshamWe ordered chicken chow mein, a plain chow mein, sweet and sour pork balls, salt pepper chicken, sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style and a plain foo yung. The Singapore noodles were really nice, loads of fresh spicy chillis and little prawns in it. The pork balls were big and had loads of pork in them. No gristle or fat at all. Big tub of sauce with them. Everything tasted nice and was fresh. Had all been cooked in clean oil etc. Good quality ingredients used. No complaints with any of our food. My only comment would be that the food was missing that garlic/ginger/soy/salt kick that makes Chinese food. The chow mein, whilst really nice, had no soy sauce or anything on it. It was just plain noodles with spring onions etc. It would be fab with that little something extra. The salt and chilli chicken was battered well, had loads of fresh chillis and tasted delicious. Wasn't as salty as I expected though, I added a bit extra. Delivery was spot on. Took the exact amount of time that I was told it would. We got free prawn crackers too. Overall really nice food, just think it's missing the Chinese kick to really amp it up. The ginger, garlic and soy etc.

1 George St, HailshamRelaxing environment speedy service for order of ploughman's and cheese melt toasty. Personally I find it a bit pricey £10 a head for 4 of us with drinks. But worth supporting a local venture.
Parking: Park in local car park and walk about 5 minutes to the café parking in street outside if you can find a free space.
Kid-friendliness: There were children there who weren't being impressed or bullied so I would say it is kid friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair flat entrance. Could be a bit tight inside but all level
