8 Southcliff Rd, WithernseaBrilliant fish and chips, large fish was a real large not a renamed medium like most chippys now. Plenty in a large chips and im sure it was sub ten quid for the pair. Friendly staff behind the till, cash only service. Pretty sure it was cooked in beef dripping. Would definitely return.

27 Seaside Rd, WithernseaMy go to cafe in Withernsea. Tucked down a little side street, very cosy and quiet. They catered for my gluten intolerance, so I enjoyed some delicious carrot cake with my hot chocolate. Highly recommend!!!

Spread eagle, 72 Queen St, WithernseaLovely little pub. Service was top notch when I went food is unbelievable and big portions too. Has outdoor seating should you wish to sit outside and it's dog friendly too. Has a conservatory that children are allowed into.

Lifeboat Fish & Chips
74-76 Hull Rd, WithernseaBest fish and chip shop and cafe in Yorkshire. People travel from neighboring villages. Staff are friendly and make the effort to get to know customers. Good selection of food, good portion size, freshly cooked fish and the batter is nice and crispy. Best curry and gravy we've ever had. Definitely value for money and delivery is available too.
Not a place to be missed.

Butterfly Inn Public House
78 Queen St, WithernseaWe consumed drinks there but we stayed at one of the self contained houses at the back of the pub. Clean and bright everything you need for a relaxing home from home. Staff were great big beer garden at the back with the lighthouse visible. Best of all dogs welcome in the bar accommodation and in the beer garden. Larger was cold and crisp and I'm informed the beer was nice too, would recommend these little homes.
Parking: At the right side down the ginnel enough parking for at least 3 to 4 cars.
Kid-friendliness: Kids play area has 1 slide but there's plenty of room for them to play in enclosed area and run around grass well kept and plenty of bins. Lots of tables with seating.

1 Pier Rd, WithernseaWe've been getting food from there for almost 3 years. Frequency varies from once a week to once a month. We most frequently order chicken donner (which is great) and chicken shish, that unfortunately depends on who is the cook, always edible, sometimes amazing, sometimes average amd chicken pop wrap. Chips do vary too, sometimes a bit dry. Overall, a very good place to eat.
Plus the garlic dip is 5 out of 5 usually.
You can't order it on Just Eat and you'd have to wait for the delivery forever...

The portion sizes were very generous. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The meals were delivered quickly. Wonderful! Thank you.?
