Restaurants in Thorngumbald

Thornbirds Cafe
90 Main Rd, Thorngumbald, HullFriendly, helpful staff; great surroundings; food excellent and no one rushing you to get out and free the table up. The full English breakfast is excellent. I'm a regular during the week. Highly recommended and popular with our local Police Officers!

The Crooked Billet
Pitt Ln, Ryehill, HullThe Crooked Billet is a friendly traditional village pub. There is a wide choice of beers lager and cider including John Smith's bitter and two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales which were in excellent condition when I visited. This cosy 400 year old former Tetley pub serves meals and Sunday roast. I haven't tried the food, but the menu looks very inviting. There is a dart board in the bar, a covered outdoor seating area, and the pub is dog friendly. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu.
Parking: There is a large free customer car park.
Kid-friendliness: The pub is child friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat, easy access for wheelchair users.

Hare & Hounds Bar and Restaurant
Main St, Burstwick, HullOrdered sweet sour box and shredded chicken salt pepper with chips, fried rice and fried noodles. Food was freshly cooked, piping hot and very quick, tasted delicious. Definitely worth a visit for some beautiful food.
I marked down one star for atmosphere as I think it would be nice to have the spare dining room as a small restaurant separate to bar area. But still really enjoyed our visit.
Will be back again. ??
