Shipton Ln, Shiptonthorpe, YorkThe food here was excellent. The service? Indifferent I felt. Everything had to be asked for- even ordering our main courses! I don't expect all singing and dancing, but we were two ladies dining to celebrate our birthdays( I mentioned this to our waiter and got a half hearted' Happy Birthday ' which was about as warm as a cold wet flannel) we didn't feel very welcomed. The food was beautifully cooked, so that was a big positive. Could do better on the customer service front.

York Rd, Shiptonthorpe, YorkStopped here in the early morning on a drive out from Bridlington. In a nice convenient spot with a drive thru and plenty of parking. Went inside and it was nice, clean and spacious. Placed a big breakfast order for four of us and it was ready very quickly. The hash browns were fresh and hot too!
Parking: Parking is right outside behind the petrol station and is easy to access. Enough parking for a full restaurant.
